KTU Kerala B.Tech Admission 2024

The university offers B.Tech programmes under 11 specializations for which admissions are on the basis of KEAM entrance examination conducted by CEE-Kerala. The duration of the course is 4 years.

KTU Kerala B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who wish to join the B.Tech program are required to complete their 10+2 board examination with PCM from a recognized institute.
Candidates must at least score a minimum of 50% marks in their examination.
For SC/ST students, there is 10% relaxation in the minimum required percentile of qualifying marks in the 12th class examination.

KTU Kerala B.Tech Selection Criteria

Admission into the B.Tech programme is on the basis of KEAM entrance examination, which is further followed by counselling.

How to Apply?

Register using a valid email id and active mobile number on the KEAM Application portal.
Re-login to the KEAM application portal using the system-generated Application ID and password and fill the KEAM Application Form.
Upload scanned images of your recent photograph, specimen signature, and left thumb impression as per the specifications.

The university offers B.Arch Program under its undergraduate programme for which admissions are on the basis of entrance examination which is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture which is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India.

The institute offers MBA program under 4 specializations i.e. Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business and Marketing. Admission to this program are based on CAT score followed by Personal Interview.

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University with not less than 50% marks (or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 5.5 in the 0-10 scale grading system) in the aggregate.

The selection shall be through discipline wise common written tests and/or personal interview as decided by the University from time to time.
Selection Of the candidate will be provisional until the final approval by the University. AICTE QIP/NDF scholars and candidates with CSIR /UGC JRF fellowship are exempted from appearing for the test and interview.Such candidates can avail admission in the odd or even semester.

APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Application Process 2024

Candidates need to visit the official website of the CEE Kerala website for the purpose of admission. To obtain the application forms and prospectus, students need to visit selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State upon submitting the fee through cash. I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. Students can also join this college by nri quota without any entrance exam by giving more fees.I got admission in ece in sctce in the keam 1st allotment itself.

Firstly I had applied for numerous colleges ranking from college of engineering Trivandrum to Rajahiri college, even though my KEAM rank was around 13k I did not have the scope of getting into ourely government colleges, then was the possibility of going into IHRD colleges and least ranked government colleges and the private colleges, but studying for 12 years in a private college made me think otherwise, then I had the option of the IHRD and least cutoff ranked government colleges, during my first allotment I got intro this college but under electronics department later during the second allotment it changed to computer science department and same suring the third allotment, this college is about two hours away from my hometown, and reachable by train, the other factors were this college was highly recommended by my cousin aunt who is a professor in model engineering college Thrikkakara.
