Choosing My College :
I choose college of engineering Chengannur after considering top options across Kerala. My decision was based on reputation, affordability and strong placements stats. Especially in Computer science stream. The college has approachable faculty, lively campus culture and transparent admission process through KEAM, made it a logical option for me over others, where cutoffs were steeper or fees far higher.
Admisson Experiemce :
The admission process was straight forward beaded solely on KEAM entrance rank followed by centralized counseling with clear cutoff for each branch. I found the process efiicinent and less stressful, since there were no group discussions or interviews.
Fees Structure and Scholarships:
Yearly tution fee is around ?40000 for merit seats higher for management or NRI. Hostel costs ?39000 to ?42000 per year. Fees remain largely stable and multiple scholarships exist; Merit-cum-need AICTE , alumni, star and central schemes. Ensuring even first generation learners can focus on studies
Since I got int this college under Management quota I am and will be paying a sum of ?75000
This amount typically covers most compulsory charges: Admission fee, registration fee, development fee and essential lab fee. At the beginning of first year the eus a one time caution deposit ?2000, other small charges like if card or university registration may apply.
SC, ST students are exempted from tution fee and pay only small amount for registration/admission, thanks to state scholarships!
While considering my batchmeates, our class is extremely diverse with those paying merit fees to even NRI fee.

The yearly fee structure varies by the type of seat you got-- Merit, Management and NRI seats. For merit students the yearly fee is around 45000 and for Management students its about 75000 and about NRI students the fee is around one lakh.The fee has reamined fairly consistent for all students but if you are late to pay the fee you have to pay fine in next semester.Also there is variations in fees for different departments
About Scholarships:-
Cec offer different scholarships for students.
1.Alumini scholarship for some students from poor financial background and those who have good academic performance.
2.AICTE Scholarship is also given to students who are excellent im academics.
And many more.

The fees structure is as follows,45k per year for merit students 75k per year for management students and above 1L per year for NRI students and free for SC/ST categories students.Main thing is there is another category named TFW which is given to economically backward students for them the fee is dropped.

The college of engineering chengannur has a varied fee structure for its undergraduate and post graduate programs.
As a btech student we have three different categories of fee structure. First one is merit seat second is management and the third one is the nri seat. For the merit seat the yearly fee structure is about 45000. And for the management seats the fee structure is 75000. For nri seats it is above one lakh. There is a scholarship provided by alumini reaction cell in our college.

Hi everyone.I am Aardra M R and I am currently pursuing my btech degree in computer science (AI and ML) at college of engineering Chengannur.I really had a dream to pursue my degree in a government or a government aided college.So I am happy to be in my college.As I get a merit seat, I am currently paying 45000 per year.When you join the college for the first time you have to pay caution deposit 5000 and if you are claiming for hostel facility,then you have to pay 10000 extra.As you all know when we join as fresher,there will be some fees like registration fee,lab fee, uniform fee etc.I remember that I had paid around 39000 when I joined including caution deposits.Mu college has three types of seats such as merit, management and NRI.If you are eligible for the management seat,then your fee will be 75000 per year and for NRI fee will be 100000.You can apply for scholarship that you want.Office staffs are there to help you for applying the scholarships such as Paragati,Egrantz, National merit cum scholarship etc.I am not sure about the amount of scholarship.

The college fees depends on the seat you have choosen admission. There are three types of seats in the college. Merit seat, mangement seat and NRI seat.

Management seat-75000
NRI seat - 1 lakh
The entry to merit seat is through kerala entrance examination. They are many government and private scholarships available. Anyone who is eligible for it can apply. The college provide government e grantz scholarship. The one with lower annual income and admitted to merit seat can apply for it.

I applied in this college in NRI quota. so i am paying 125000 rs per annum and a caution deposit of 100000rs. registration fee 1500rs. As i am from ernakulam i am staying in hostel so hostel fees of 6000rs per month. pta fee of college 10000. Then alumini fees of 2500rs. placement cell fees 4500rs. all these above fees are excluded from my tuition fee of 125000rs per annum. I am OBC candidate but as i took NRI here no fee reduction.

wll in my case the total sem fees is 22k which is ok my father pays it and otger fees is 45kper sem 25 is merit fees and 45 is management fees other fees addup like exam fees abou t2.5k and scholarships i dont know much about that finnacial aid also i thinks tgere is no collage provided only from outside if you get thats all
