Not Perfect, But a Worth Campus It for the Right Student

I joined B.Tech CSE (Core) at SRM Sonepat in 2024. The fee per year is 2.5 lakhs, so in four years, it totals 10 lakhs. At the start, I also paid 10,000 as a joining fee and 5,000 as a safety deposit. Each year, there are extra costs like test and service fees, about 5,000 per year. So, the full cost of the course is nearly 10.7 lakhs. For now, the fee stays the same each year. Some of my batchmates who came through quota or had high ranks pay less due to fee cuts. The campus gives fee aid from 10% to 100% based on marks in JEE main, SRMJEE, or Class 12th Percentage. You can also try for state or main fee aid if you meet the rules.

SRM - A Great and Life Changing Experience

The yearly fee for my course is 2,66,000/- out of which 2,50,000 is the tuition fee and the remaining 16,000 covers library and sports facilities. The college offers scholarships for students who do well in academics and an exam is held before the admission called 'SRMHCAT' on the basis of which the percentage of the scholarships is decided.

We have to pay 2 lakh yearly for B Tech. There are some scholarships also,but these are on the basis of their entrance test, JEE maine and 12th marks, later that scholarship remains same through out the course, only if you have met the specif criterias.

The course curriculum is so haptic that it is difficult to manage other things with course.

The yearly fees include 2 lakh tution fees + 50 thousand if you have specialization, and 10 thousand development fees , 10 thousand sports fees and 6000 library fees, and along with this 15000 fees(only in first year) for seat reservation and that can later on be deducted in tution fees. There are scholarship based on 10th and 12th marks, JEE based and even college conducts it's own scholarship exam, I got a 50% scholarship by giving this college scholarship exam .and some of my friends got 25, 50 or even 75 and 90% scholarships, The scholarship retains based on the cgpa scored. So it is required to have a good grade for maintaining scholarship.

Registeration fees is Rs. 15000, sports and library charges are Rs. 6000 per year and special charges which include personality development charges are Rs. 10,000 per year and a security deposit of Rs. 10,000(one time) which is refundable at the end of the course. Course feel unaffordable this university is too expensive and became difficult for some peoples to get admission and this university campus feels small according to the fees structure and facilites are not enough according to the fees structure
