Not Perfect, But a Worth Campus It for the Right Student

Placement Experience:

I’m only just past my first year, so I haven’t yet taken part in any placement drives, but I’ve learned that students become eligible in their seventh semester once they’ve cleared all papers with at least a 50% score. From what seniors say, big names like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Cognizant visit the campus, offering around fifty, thirty, twenty and fifteen slots each, plus a handful from smaller firms. Last year’s top package was about 21LPA, and the average landed near 6.5LPA.

SRM University - All you need to know

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts from 7th semester. Many companies come for placements like LAVA, AIRTEL, INFOSYS, etc. Average package is of 7.5 lpa and highest package for year 2024 was of 32.5 lpa. My plans is to try and take on campus placement in a reputed company and even if I don't get on campus placement I'll also apply off campus for a better package.

Review about my college- SRM University Delhi-Ncr

Placement Experience:

For MBA after 2nd semester students are eligible for placements. Some many companies visited for placements like procmart, blinkit and I got offer from procmart. The highest package is 13 lakhs and the average package is 3 -6 lakhs in this year and the profiles offered is mostly marketing,hr, finance and rarely business analyst. Till I am in my 3rd semester around 25% students got placements. My plan after getting degree is to fit in good job

A Ground Reality of SRM University, Delhi NCR by a student.

Placement Experience:

Students before eligibile for placement before their second last semester (if I have 3yr course, I would be eligible for placement from 5th semester) Few popular companies that visit us are - Blinkit, EY, Bosch, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc for various roles in all departments. Highest package is - 48Lpa (BTech) , 28Lpa (MBA) and 12lpa (BBA and Bcom) Average package is 6-8lpa in all departments. More than 70% students get placed in some company or other who apply for placement as there areany companies coming. My plans - I'm placed at Zomato so I am going to work there after the degree.

As this course is a theoretical course and I persued bachelors and in bachelors we don't have much opportunities for placements and also coming from the maths background we don't have much of industries available for the application of our course and to get a job. But still the college manage to get some teaching jobs but it was not on a larger scale only one of the student or majorly 2 where placed into the company. But the college did offered a huge amount of placements for the engineering students as it is an engineering college and major crowd as well as faculties are from engineering. In my course there was no much application in the companies that's why only teaching jobs were offered as a placement opportunity that to package of 6 lakhs into different companies.

IIEST Shibpur is a well-known institute in India. Although it has faced some challenges in recent years, it has been making progress. Aerospace Engineering is the newest department at IIEST, having been established in 2011 by branching out from the Mechanical Engineering Department. Despite being a small batch, the department has a lot of potential.

When it comes to faculty, IIEST has an edge over SRM. The Mechanical Department, in particular, is considered one of the premier departments at IIEST.
IIEST also has better laboratory and infrastructure facilities than SRM, which is important for students pursuing engineering degrees.
