SRM University Sonepat offers admission to B.Tech, M.Tech, BSc, M.Sc, BCom, MCom, BCA, MCA, MBA, and PhD courses.SRM University Sonepat Admission is based on SRMJEEE, CAT/XAT/MAT, NCHMCT JEE, followed by Counselling or a Personal Interview.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at SRM University Sonepat are 10+2 in the science stream with 50% marks, and for MBA are a graduation in the relevant discipline with 50% marks. B.Tech admission is based on SRMJEE Main, followed by Counselling. Meanwhile, admission to MBA courses is based on CAT/XAT/MAT, followed by Counselling.

SRM University Sonepat Admission is based on SRMJEEE, SRMHCAT, NCHMCT JEE, followed by Counselling or a Personal Interview. Not Perfect, But a Worth Campus It for the Right Student

Admission:

The admission process at SRM Sonepat was smooth and simple. I applied online through the official website. You can get in either through the SRMJEEE entrance exam or through direct admission based on your 12th marks. SRMJEEE is the most preferred way, and students who score well often get good scholarships too (from 10% to 100% tuition fee waiver). I took direct admission since I didn’t take SRMJEEE. The eligibility was 50% or more in Class 12 with PCM subjects. Overall, I found the admission experience quite stress-free. They provide decent guidance and support throughout the process, and I got my seat confirmed quickly without any hidden issues.

I applied for PIET and geeta university also other than SRM, in PIET I was having difficulty for daily transportation and also they don't allow bunks or getting out of college before college time, also there scholarship scheme was not that much good, where as in geeta university it was still under development of there labs and other facilities and also the campus was not that large, it also carried the problem of transportation, as my older brother is also a passout from SRM University, it was easy for me to get transportation facilities from my door, and also I cleared scholarship exam that gave me 50% scholarship and now our university is the only university with NAAC A+ credit. Also the admission department was nice than PIET. For scholarship criteria there are several options like 10th and 12th grades , JEE score , JEEE ( college based entrance exam) which are good way of getting scholarship. the JEEE cutoffs are based on marks in early stages, and later based on ranks as it is conducted 5-7 times during the admission time.

Admission:

I applied for the Government colleges and gave JEE exam but i couldn't prepare well and couldn't clear the exam so i started looking for private universities for engineering and i chose this university over others due to many reasons such as the affordability of the course, campus life, infrastructure, facilties and quality of labs. I didn't make it to government colleges because my JEE score was very low as i wasn't able to prepare well for the exam. the admission process is by giving the entarnce exam of the university. For B.Tech you need Atleast 75% in PCM in 12th class. you also get scholarship with this exam. However you can still get admission even if you score is low as it is scholarship examination but it is mandatory for further admission process. to freeze your seat Rs. 15000 registeration fees has to be paid. After that you get further with the admission process.

After qualification of SRMJEEE, one needs to apply for SRMJEEE counselling. There verification of documents are also done. The steps of SRMJEEE Counselling are given below:

  • Login to the portal of SRMJEEE
  • There you can download your rank card
  • Now, you need to fill in the education details
  • Then, you need to do choice filling for campus and programme selection
  • The admission authority will allow the choice of campus on the basis of SRMJEEE 2024 rank, qualifying examination etc.
  • Accept the allocation and pay the counselling fee and registration fee

The SRMJEEE Score card will be valid only till the current academic year only. Any candidate will not be provided admission to any course of SRM University Delhi Sonepat in the next year or then next year on the basis of previous year SRMJEEE scores.

The SRMJEEE Aspirant should have completed 17 years age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. This age criteria also applies on international students. However, in case of medicine and health sciences, the minimum age limit is 21st years.

SRM Delhi NCR does not have Management Quota seats available for the students. There are seats offered to the students on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination or previous qualifying examination.
