SRM - A Great and Life Changing Experience

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very well designed and maintained regularly. The gardens are well maintained
The faculty allotted to us is very supportive of us and provides us with any help that is required
There are cultural activities that keep on going around the year which provides us a change of mind and sort of a relief during our hectic schedules

Dislikes

Sometimes it's hard to find proper parking especially during peak hours
The attendance policy can feel a bit too rigid even when students are genuinely managing their studies well
The internet is sometimes slow or patchy in certain areas of the campus

Admission:

While applying for colleges, I considered a few reputed ones, including Christ University, GTBIT, and UPES. I got confirmed admissions from UPES and GTBIT, but I chose this college. The admission process was smooth and transparent. Required exams like JEE Main. Eligibility generally includes a minimum of 50-60% in 12th witha valid entrance score.

SRM DELHI NCR SONIPAT- AN EMERGING GROUND FOR INNOVATION

Likes

The Campus is very stunning and beautiful. The faculty is highly educated and cooperative.
Industrial collaboration offers a very valuable experience to students.
Active student communities with cultural and tech like prisma

Dislikes

Location- It is a bit far from the city but its manageable
Strict Attendance Rules- However it is very common just like in other universities
Newer Campus- However it is gaining its identity rapidly.

Admission:

I had applied to many colleges but i wanted to study in specialisation with data science and artificial intell Which only SRM was able to provide so therefore i opted for admission here. To take admission in my College one should give the SRMHCAT EXAM that is the entrance test that offers scholarships and then finally you can enroll yourself in a course.

Likes

There labs are very good, fully furnished.
A very good infrastructure, and outside views.

Dislikes

Lack of nearby transportation for outsiders.
Hectic schedule, sometimes felt like burden.
Average library. Some reference books are available but for reading and hobbies none.

Admission:

This college was suggested to me, and if I comapre I would say, study is actually nice. You will feel pressusre of internal exams and assignment and most important attendance. Moreover now formal dress is also compulsory for B Tech students, so they are trying to increase strictness in every way.

Overall campus life is good , students are friendly and nice in nature. infrastructure is also good.
There are no issues if you want to skip classes , though there is overall attendance criteria per subject but it is easy to maintain while having fun.
All the classes have projectors and some even have podium, also labs have systems with good processor and ram

Dislikes

Distance is a major issue as it is situated 3km away from main road and it is difficult to go outside if you don't have any means of transport.
There are strict rules for dressing and discipline , a fine is issued when found breaking rules.
The course curriculum is so haptic that it is difficult to manage other things with course.

Admission:

I applied for PIET and geeta university also other than SRM, in PIET I was having difficulty for daily transportation and also they don't allow bunks or getting out of college before college time, also there scholarship scheme was not that much good, where as in geeta university it was still under development of there labs and other facilities and also the campus was not that large, it also carried the problem of transportation, as my older brother is also a passout from SRM University, it was easy for me to get transportation facilities from my door, and also I cleared scholarship exam that gave me 50% scholarship and now our university is the only university with NAAC A+ credit. Also the admission department was nice than PIET. For scholarship criteria there are several options like 10th and 12th grades , JEE score , JEEE ( college based entrance exam) which are good way of getting scholarship. the JEEE cutoffs are based on marks in early stages, and later based on ranks as it is conducted 5-7 times during the admission time.

Likes

Infrastructure is good. University is built in 47.8 acres.
Classes and labs are well equipped and fully air conditioned.
Transport facility is also available for day scholars.

Dislikes

Its not safe to roam around outside the campus during night.
University is at a secluded area and far from GT road.
Less cafe and restaurants as compared to the foot fall.

Admission:

Admission process is through admission cum scholarship test. you can also get scholarship based on the test results and score. After the test, to freeze your seat you have to pay Rs. 15000 registeration fees and after that for admission atleast 25% tuition fees should be paid along with other mandatory fees.

SRM University - All you need to know

Likes

The infrastructure is very good. The classes are fully air conditioned and clean.
Labs are equiped with latest PCs and are well maintained.
College events are very happening and very enjoyable.

Dislikes

you have to wear formals on daily basis.
sometimes faculty is not available for a particualr subject.

Admission:

I applied for the Government colleges and gave JEE exam but i couldn't prepare well and couldn't clear the exam so i started looking for private universities for engineering and i chose this university over others due to many reasons such as the affordability of the course, campus life, infrastructure, facilties and quality of labs. I didn't make it to government colleges because my JEE score was very low as i wasn't able to prepare well for the exam. the admission process is by giving the entarnce exam of the university. For B.Tech you need Atleast 75% in PCM in 12th class. you also get scholarship with this exam. However you can still get admission even if you score is low as it is scholarship examination but it is mandatory for further admission process. to freeze your seat Rs. 15000 registeration fees has to be paid. After that you get further with the admission process.

faculty is okayish just satisfying and canteens

i dont like the infrastructure and washrooms and classes
The management of the university is too bad

i have no options left for college because my father want me to stay near the home and this college was nearest and my father feels like this college is good because it have A++ grade from NAAC and s0me relatives recommended this college to me that's why i choosed this college

campus was really nice , we can have a quality of social interaction
professor were really good provide great knowledge of the course
the way of teaching with the technology was very helpful

Dislikes

As an college student we more feel like school
we have very less number of students in the course which impact us
lack of placement in the related domain

Admission:

I choose this college as it is near my hometown and i have applied in IIHm other than this even in ipu I haven't got teh rejection from the other college , as for that college i have to relocate myself admission process was very simple just went to college dfirectly for admission student can also apply for exam if they want my overall experience was good

every student are in contact with each other junior and senior are in good contact in my college the acknowledge of my infrastructure is well devloped and mordern because the lift are there for student
the path of srm inside the university is very long where student enjoy and do chill and fun where bus are also for students for outsiders hostel were there students wants to go outside from college they allowed for going outside and cafeteriawerether

Dislikes

i dont like the attendance system in my university and merical system and there is no value off that person who are weak in education if he is facing some issue in their mental health then no one wil care only intelligent student get attention incoll
the teacher have the power to pass or promote or passed the student in exam or to sit in exam but they cant listen they debard the student and take money fee for student the marks system also bad in my university everyone was in depression or sad sad
i dont like the behaviour of admin block or flying members or security guard there is very strict rule in college if he got 74.5 percent in one subject then he was debared in that subject because of not getting wxtra zero point five percent in subjec

Admission:

this college is good for person who wants to live in atticates manners or in standard i choose this college because of this college is very good for student and the addmission process of srm is quite good

Likes

The infrastructure is so good ,classy and clases are clean and comfortable
Fellow competition and clubs are good enough to strengthen
Labs are well occupied with mac pc and other high specs systems

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is very strict , they don't allow without 75%
Some faculty members cuts liberation of students
Placement are a bit on less benchmark but internship are there

Admission:

I applied to mmu ambala ,Amity,chitkara ,bennet I didn't went to half of them because they are costly also, srm have more reputation than them One can get admission through boards percentage,jee,cute,srmjee,srmhcat Also scholarship are there as per achievements
