The faculty of a college is pretty helpful and kind there are at least 2 to 3 assistant professors for a single subject. Head of law department Mr Vivek Kumar Shukla sir is one of my favourite facility member whom I have admired from the beginning as he teachers as political science is also good at motivating students to participate in events and help them bring out their skills and enhance them , he is always being devoted kind and helpful to each student of our college. College have weekly test sheets or workbooks exams which they conduct every week Also they conduct internals for each units and there are pre semester tests the level of these tests are pretty much as same as University of Lucknow level

Course Curriculum Overview

The course over here not only give us the the academics but also help us in different aspects of our course which are court visits jail visits held in different competition such as mood quotes debates for young students to get inspired and get more indulged in their field. There are in total 6 classes which are of 45 minutes and it should not be done like this rather my suggestion is that they should be classes of 1 hour each as the lecturer also gets enough time to explain an elaborate the topic to students Cons of this course are that hard to get placement and one has to know law by heart to work in the law field

Course Curriculum Overview

The ULC, GU being one of the premier law colleges in the North Ease of India, I chose this college because of the course structure which prepares students to make a law career for themselves along with the faculty from various esteemed colleges of India which includes the likes of University of Goa, Government Law College, Gauhati etc. The college helps students seek internships with various legal professsionals which prepares the students not only accademically but also the face the practical legal world after college. The courese need no specific improvement but the availibility of a placement cell would had been a great addition to thish college. The exams are conducted half yearly which rigorously tests the students legal knowledge in every aspect.

Faculty

The college contains a great bunch of faculties which contains a 5 Associate Professors and 15 Teaching Associates making it a total of 20 Teachers. One thing in this college is that all the teachers are always available for the students even beyond working hours. During a semester, there are 2 sessional exams conducted the difficulty of which is moderate and also during the semster one has to present Seminar Papers for each respective paper and based on that paper there is also a viva test conducted. The difficulty of the viva test is again moderate. At the end of the semester, the final exams are conducted by the University for 80 marks with a passing mark of 36 making the paper a bit difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for 1 year is Rs 36,000 which is divided into three installments, the first installment is of Rs 10,000, the second is of Rs 13,000 and the third is of Rs 13,000. If you are an OBC or SC/ST student, you will get the benefit of scholarship. I have submitted two installments so far. If you want to do your best in this field, you can take tuitions for which you will have to pay separately, that too to a good institute. The subject fee for LLB course first semester can be from ?1000 to ?2000 or ?3000. If you are good in studies, then you do not need tuition, you can study well on your own.The fees of all my batchmates and me are exactly the same. There is no discrimination of any kind in this, some have more fees, some have less fees. The fees for all is the same i.e. Rs. 36,000. For students who have other courses, the fees are different.Like there is BA LLB, BCom LLB, BB LLB, the fees of all these are different, there is another course called IIM, its fees are also different, thank you, that's all I want to say.

The environment here is superb. The quality of education provided by teachers is also excellent. Social life is also good. Got so many new friends. There is less opportunities in the field of sports. There is only four sports available in this college. Basketball football kabaddi and badminton.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is bad. Classes run properly and nicely. The quality of teaching is excellent. But the other things which help us grow in the field like moot court jail visit etc are missing. Debates competition are held by college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since mostly LLB students at BHU target for judiciary exams. And BHU is known as the factory of judges for north india. Hence there is no question on the relevance of course in the area. But if one has to do litigation then she may prefer DU over BHU. The diffuculty of semester exams is not that much you can crack it even after studying rigorously for 2 weeks before the exams. But the 70% attendance rule is strictly applied here. Hence u will have to take classes compulsorily. Also there is not much gap in start of semester and mid term and final exam. It feels like u always have exams.

Faculty

The faculty here is very rich in knowledge and also we have a lot of them. The faculty to student ratio is 1 to 50. The course structure is that we are here for 3 years of llb and it is divided in 6 semesters. Every semester ends with a final exam and in between the semester there is a mid term also. The marking scheme in the exam is in the ratio of 70 to 30. Where the semester final exam is of 70 marks written and mid term is of 30 marks that includes 20 marks written and 10 marks for presentation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is overall fine but it does not prepare us for real world situation. It is only limited to the classroom and exams. BA subjects are chosen by the college itself and we did not get to choose subjects according to our will and hence stuck with the subjects for three year. College controls all the subjects that students will be studying and choose according to their will. If students could choose the subjects it would be better and the teacher's use more relevant topics that will be needed for law then just anything. Mid terms happen around October every odd semester. 2 subjects in a day. One morning shift and one day shift. End terms happen around December. One paper each day. For even semester mid terms happen around March and end terms around may. We get 1 hour for mid terms and 2.5 hours end term. Exams are not very difficult and you have to be really dumb to fail.

Campus Life

There's one Yuva fest that happens annually for 3 days. This year Neha Kakkar was the main guest along with a Russian dj and local bands entertaining the students. First day was ethnic day, second was dj night and the third day Neha Kakkar had a live performance along with rohanpreet singh . This college have a wide collection and a dream library for law students. All the records journals and books are easily available for students. The classroom is mostly board and marker kind with almost no technology available. Sports events happens 2-3 times a year. The college encourages students for sports. Various socities like debating society, moot court society, youth parliament society, cultural society, Rotaract, legal aid centre, pro bono, literary committee etc.

Faculties are 2% and students are 10% , the Faculty to student relationship is not too good they just teach you and complete your course on time but you can't approch them for your personl problems. The name of Faculty i don't like is dr. Naveen Chouhan because of there nature, he is always showing his ego and strictness among all student's. In every semester they take 2 mid semester (mid term) in which 1-2 units are prepared for exams

Campus Life

All the books and journals are accessible and available in the library. All the class room's have smart classes and AC facilities, blackboard, etc. Crickete, bollyboll, badminton, etc all types of sports are on camps, extra curricular activists are also offered on camps.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm studying under Gauhati university. Gauhati university has a dream campus of every student. Personal road and trees all over the campus makes is more peaceful and relaxing. We have personal pool also. Professors and Infrastructure is also very good. Fees of llb course per year is almost 10 to 15 thousand. The main background of this university is their cultural and political scope. We and see many alumini as a leader or celebrity. This university campus also produced a human being with good quality . We can get many scholarship and hostels facilities.

Faculty

The student faculty ratio is almost 1:40. If you are a good student then no need to worry. Teachers are very supportive. They take mainly two exams final and before final they take sessional examination. If you failed in sessional then you are not ne able to pass the semester. To clear your backlog, you have wait for one year. This is the worst rule you can ever get.

Faculty to students ratio especially for llb course is very good .There is around more than 30 professor for just a batch of 300 students .Most of the professors are very kind .But there are few who take on their ego if they have a problem with anyone. The faculty that I liked was AK Pandey sir because he is academically excellent and he is one in a lifetime professor. The one faculty I didn't like was Babita Mam because she is very lazy and often didn't come to the class There is mid term after every two months of a semester with 20 marks written paper and 10 marks presentation. And there are two semester in a year at a interval of around 5 months. Exams are not that hard and neither that easy . There are very few students who gets back in few papers

Campus Life

There is a fresher event held for every new batch . Along with it Saraswati puja is celebrated in a very large scale where every department performs and compete with each other . We have our own library where we can find every book related to our course .It is available to avery students if you are a part of the course. The faculty to student ratio per class is 1:10. They are easily approachable for any doubts in lecture or if you want to publish any journal. Until now the best Professor I met was Prof. Shubhajeet Bhattacharya and Prof. Sanjay Dutta. They helped a lot in improving my speaking skills in public. There are a total of 10 exams throughout the course of 10 Semesters. Out of 100 students only 1-2 or barely anyone fail a semester. Yes, there are students who get backlogs in particular subjects but that is also less.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I am paying per year is ?6690 Tuition Fee - ?3200 Registration Fee - ?250 (One Time) Admission Fee - ?400 Session Fee - ?400 Development Fee - ?2000 Library Fee - ?300 Electricity Fee - ?150 Misc. Fees - ?250 (approx.) My batchmates no matter their reservation pays the same fees as mine. However they can enjoy scholarship benefits provided by West Bengal Govt. Fees and Financial Aid

Hello my name is piyush iam pursuing LLB Hons from University of Allahabad. Currently iam in final year , yearly fees of my college is 4259 for me it is not too much high it's decent fees , and also tuition fees , caution fees admission fees and many others included in it Except 4259 you did not need to spend a single penny in college that's the complete yearly fees . And the whole llb fees is just multiply 4259 by 3 that's the complete fees of llb hons . Teachers staff everyone is too supportive, also they will help you to lift up your carrier and also help in your career guidance. Library facilities also available for where books can be issued for free so that's also too good that you do not need to spend your money on books . And also university of Allahabad having too low fees of all other subjects like b.com , bsc etc . If we compare fees structure with other colleges then university of Allahabad offers low fees and good guidance.

Faculty

Firstly I told earlier faculty is too good , even they support to in your career guidance amazing faculty. In our law faculty one of the best teachers are Sandhya Verma mam , Dr. Ajay Singh sir , anurag Verma sir , Bheem Singh sir , Dr. Sonal Shankar mam , Dr. Vijay Laxmi mam and Roshan lal sir. And also other faculty members are also good but the above mentioned are the best among all. None of the faculty will give you the single reason to dislike them but they some lack in explanation but over all they are good .and of supportive nature . Exam are of moderate level not too tough nor too easy but rarely student fails or else everyone passes the failures are the one who never studies if your study Lil bit also then also you can pass .

Ques. Is doing law from Allahabad University good?

● Top Answer By Alankrita Rajbhar on 27 Jul 22

Ans. If you want a career in litigation, then Allahabad University is a good option. You will get ample time and resources to build required skills. Allahabad High Court and lower courts will assist in clearing your basics and make you a professional. It is a good option for judicial services too. You will be able to manage your preparations, as attendance rules aren’t strict.  But for corporate sector jobs, Allahabad University isn’t a good option. Very few companies visit the campus placements.  Allahabad University law degrees are cost-effective compared to NLUs. The total tuition fee for LLB at the university is only INR 2.3 Lakhs. Also, Allahabad isn’t a costly city.Read more

Ques. How do I study for LLB exams and get good marks Im in LLB 1st year since 2 years? How do I write papers from Pune University?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 29 Sept 21

Ans. Exams are simple to pass, however gaining necessary information is a little tougher. It's the right technique to make your concepts obvious, mentioning sections and focusing on the bare act. Doing the following would be a lot easier method: Classroom lectures are always the most effective. Making running notes entails writing down what you believe is important. Choose a standard reading book (textbook/reference book) for each subject.  This is the only book you should read if you want to pass your examinations.  An author’s book, often known as a "Commentary," would be beneficial for conceptual clarity as well as legal expertise and terminology. Presentation is another useful tool. You could present the answer in your own distinct style. Make a clear format for how you'll write your answers. The following is an example of a possible response: A brief introduction (A line or two introducing the answer to the question) The case's/facts questions (if any) Provision of the law (Includes Section, Article, Clause if you know it) The inference made by you (the actual answer that is examined) Jurisprudence (if any) Conclusion If the issue is for lower marks, your structure can be simplified, but the Section, Article, Clause, and Case law should still be included. If recalling Sections and other details is tough, focus on the most important ones. When a topic is presented, the rest of the book can be read leisurely with consistent and pertinent references.Read more

Ques. Can a SOL DU graduate student apply for L.L.B regular from a Delhi university?

● Top Answer By Saloni Kaushik on 29 Sept 21

Ans. SOL DU is recognized by UGC, so you will be eligible to apply for a regular LLB from Delhi University. The following are the requirements for admission to Delhi University's law school for the LLB degree program. You must have a Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or its equivalent with at least 50% marks if you are from General and Other Backward Classes (OBC). However, the cut-off marks for OBC applicants in the Entrance Test will be up to 10% lower than the marks announced for general candidates. OBC category students are granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirements.  The widows/wards of defense personnel (CW) category are granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirements for general candidates.  Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped (PH) category are granted a relaxation of up to 5% in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates. You will also need to give an entrance examination if you are applying for this course. I recommend that you contact the relevant university for more information. Read more

Ques. How is Amity University, Noida for 3 year law?

● Top Answer By Nikita Sen on 17 Apr 21

Ans. As far as a review of doing a 3 year LLB from Amity Law College, Noida, a friend of mine who did the course was not too keen on the college. According to her, the overall reputation of the college is not very good. As far as the faculty is concerned, it is alright, nothing extraordinary. If you want to seriously pursue a law degree, a complete five-year law course is much better appreciated in the market. And if you are looking at placements, they are not that good. You will have to look for a job on your own if you are not from the top three national law schools. If not, do an LLM from abroad. That will probably help. However, if you intend to pursue law within the country itself, you should look at colleges in South India that could be better than Amity Noida. Try IFIM law school as a first. Definitely don’t go to Amity Law School Noida.  Read more

Ques. Can I take a year off after the 1 year of LLB in KSLU University?

● Top Answer By Vijay Mishra,  on 30 Oct 21

Ans. Once you enroll yourself for any law course with KSLU, you will have to complete the course within the prescribed time by the university.  For example, if you are in the 3 years course of LLB then you will be given +3 years to finish the course (i.e, 3+3). If you surpass the time you will have to enroll for the fresh batch. Otherwise, you can also keep the course going and be enrolled, take a year's break, and get back. But it is difficult to catch up with the academics considering a break since they take time to follow up.  Also, it is heard in rumors that KSLUs evaluation system is unfair and has left students in much agony.Read more
