As I always wanted to have doctor in front of my name .. Doing BDS was something like to achieve success in my life Sometimes you don't choose the course , the course chooses you If you have great skill in crafts and love to play with clay ....BDS is the right place

The curriculum is well balanced and is undifferentiated for both MBBS and BDS. As a BDS student i didn't feel any discrimination against us we also perform Dissection . Study the same subjects and even extra 3 subjects We perform carving,make dentures,etc.

As this course provide the tag I wanted , that's why I took this course . And bds itself provide specialization in teeth Like if we do MDS we would be a master in this field. For improvement I would suggest that they should use more flowcharts to teach . The frequency of exams is perfect, and I have heard that the difficulty level is increasing now.

See i won't lie It's not a by choice decision to join bds it was bychance But coming to kgmu It's a dream of every medical student giving neet So rn sitting here i can proudly say i made the best decision of my life The curriculum is way balanced just u need to study daily and maintain pace...

The main thing is that i have only limites hours of work to do.... Then i can persue my own work... So work life balance is maintained. Thus institute just provides ample patient exposure and ample opportunity for working in different environment so just prepares too good for ones real world exposure Few subjects in final yr ciuld be transfered to other yrs so as to reduce load in final yr or else final yr us just too hectic

The patient exposure is really nice here We get to see many of the rare cases too Which will definitely help us when we'll be dealing with patients on our own But we have to study on our own generally And also due to the posting schedule and mandatory attendance we don't get much time for self study

BDS is a very intriguing degree for those who love science and art. It includes intricate details,you have to work in millimetres of tooth surface. Currently,it needs more emphasis on practical work . Frequency of exams is alright,the course in itself includes day to day challenges for getting a single step of whole process done.

The bachelor of Dental science is available only in king george medical College all has special things to do. It has intersting and as well as hard but at the same time need High skills to master in the subject

The curriculum is well structured with the balance of practical as well as theoritical knowledge. Clinical exposure provide the required handskills to students and prepare them for clinical work. University exams are conducted at the end of curriculum with moderate difficulty level.

Placement are good and very much helpfull. The average package is around 8-9 lakh / year . We also get a lot of opportunities for intership in many other hospitals like lilavati , Apollo hospital and many other hospitals
