- I liked infrastructure of my college , it provides very beautiful cmapus and hostel are good

Dislikes
- Student and teacher ratio there are 120 students in one class as compared to other collges 60 students are there
- Less extra curricular activities jn my college
- More focus on assignment we had do a lot of writing work
Internships Opportunities:
As we are in medical college that had his own hospital so there are no need of any other company
We don't get any stipend
But our college internship program is best
In 6 montys of internship we are posted in pediatric medicine surgery community obstetrics and gynecology and mental health department

- Environment, overall environment including the senior interaction and all is amazing
- Every event is a grand event in KGMU , celebrated with great enthusiasm
- Gives you opportunity to discover yourself in other criteria of life
Dislikes
- May be the hostel mess as it is not properly cleaned
- Presence of stray dogs in the area .. personally
- May be the boldness and open up interaction if you are a introvert person
Internships Opportunities:
There are no as such intership provided by any company.
You have to fullfill the bond period given by government of an period of 2 years to serve rural areas .
After this period either you can try to clear NEET PG for further degree in MDS or join any medical hospital to provide service there

Dislikes
- Staff are too adamant and doesn't perform any work on time
- The railway track near is a huge disturbance
- Cleanliness outside the campus is unhygienic
Internships Opportunities:
The internship is of 1 year after ur 4th year.
There is a good patient exposure.
And there are cases of every type seen here
The stipend is near about 10 to 15 k .
There is a bond for job too from internship and then including another year.

- and the campus environment is so good and the social interaction with patient and attendant and all person is good .
- our college faculties is well educated some of these are PHd. holder and the teaching method is appreciated.The Bsc.Nursing course is professional and noble course

- sometimes the work load and assignment load is so hectic
- attendance is 80%mandatory for theory and 100%for clinical posting
- vacations are not provided so long peripd

in our course there is no placement offers and there is 6 month internships provided with no stipend.
in internship we work in ward and care of patient and there is also night duties in intership and the task is give good quality of care

- The quality of teaching and the clinical exposure given is outclass. Also the studying hours we get after the college hours are sufficient for self study and other co curricular activities.
- The faculty are of highest standard and also the exams pattern and syllabus are strictly in accordance to the curriculum defined by the National medical council.
- The college provide opportunities in every field like research, sports, events and fests and have the integrity of holding the highest ranking for so many years.
Dislikes
- There is not as such to dislike in this college for there is ample facility and top notch academics.
Internships Opportunities:
One year of mandatory internship is to be done in MBBS curriculum.
The internship is paid.
During this phase we are posted in different departments to gain experience under the guidance of our esteemed faculties and doctor.

- the infrastructure is good .Girls and boys hostels are separate faculty hostel is different There is also facility for indoor outdoor games.
- The mess is inside the hostel so one does not have to go outside

- The auditorium has not been built yet There is a problem in having functions.
- there are too many monkeys.keep roaming inside the hostel
- The mess kitchen is not good.. the academic washrooms are very dirty

- Teacher give a lot of assignment and the schedule is packed
- 80 percent Attendance is mandatory in college
- If you are fail in one subject, no supplementary exam is available, you have to give exam with junior batch

We have no company hiring process. But we have internship in 8th semester of 6 months which is unpaid. After completion we get our registration from university and after that we can apply for any hospital and nursing competition exam and do job.

- All the 21 departments have faculty and are working smmothly. The new medical college building is equipped with state of the art technology in the medical field.
- The infrastructure is best among all the autonomous state medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh with an on campus sport facility which also has an olympic size swimming pool.
- The library is well equipped and all the Lecture theatre and labs are air conditioned and we'll furnished.

- The trains to Siddharthnagar are quite less.

The course of MBBS has inclusive internship of 1 year after 4.5 year of MBBS which is a rotational internship in which the student has to go through all the 19 departments and learn the application of the practical knowledge that they have collected through the course. Their is a mandatory research paper that is to be written during the internship which will be reviewed while granting the degree.

- Good and experienced faculty of approx every subject . Professors are too good especially of first year subjects
- There is no kind of distractions like politics as seen in many colleges
- Hospital intake is pretty good . Patients from nearby areas as well as nepal come to the district hospital for their treatment.
Dislikes
- Campus area is too small as compared to other 2019 colleges .
- No ground is provided for extra curricular activities.
- Hostel is limited. Single room is shared by three in third year also.
Internships Opportunities:
1 year of compulsory internship is there in every government medical college of India. Stipend provided in some colleges is okay but right now stipend is very low according to the work load of intern . It is 12000 per month in my college.
Intern have to do work for many hours continuously in the hospital. There are very less holidays in the complete internship period. Overall internship is a very hectic period in a life of medical student.

In spite of its lower ranking, why has VMMC been occupied first compared to KGMU?

VMMC attracts a major crowd of NEET toppers. It is the most chosen college after MAMC. There are several reasons why many people choose VMMC over KGMU.
Mandatory rural service is the biggest disadvantage of KGMU. Those planning for a PG/superspeciality especially find this service period unnecessary and time-consuming. Moreover, VMMC is located in Delhi. This makes it more favorable. Though I personally feel Lucknow offers almost every facility. Internal PG reservation also works in the favor of VMMC.
KGMU is ranked much higher than VMMC. The education at KGMU is much better too. Despite this, VMMC is preferred because of the above reasons.

In what order would you rank MAMC, KGMU, AFMC, IMS-BHU, CMC & Grant Medical College?

I will try to answer your query and provide some additional information.
After the top most colleges- AIIMS, PGI, JIPMER, NIMHANS and SGPGI, these are the colleges you should try for- Medical colleges in Delhi are the best choice. Out of these, MAMC is the most desirable. It is followed by VMMC, LHMC and UCMS. Then come the medical colleges in Mumbai. KEM is a top medical college, followed by Sion and Grant. Colleges of Kerala and Madras are at par with one another. But Madras Medical College is the best among these. AFMC and CMC Vellore are great for patients, but not so much for the students.
Thus, MAMC is a great choice. I do not possess much knowledge of KGMU and IMS BHU, so I haven’t talked about them.

According to the reviews online by the students of these colleges, here’s what the ranking seems to be like:
- KGMU has mostly been ranked among the top 5 institutions in India. It usually maintained its place in rank 2 or 3. This institution is 125 years old with proper educational experience.
- AFMC is a very disciplined institution with strict rules and codes of conduct, as it has direct affiliation with Armed forces. Though being well reputed, in academics and exposure it might lag behind.
- MAMC, Grants Medical College (GMC) and IMS BHU are at a similar level.
- Some students claim MAMC to be slightly better than AFMC.
- GMC is very popular in and around Maharashtra.
- IMS-BHU is autonomous; it has the reputation of BHU tagged along which is beneficial.
- CMC is amongst the oldest medical colleges, but their severe lack of proper facilities in this college and political disturbances have tarnished its reputation.
Therefore it is suggested you either go for KGMU or MAMC, as they will provide you with the required exposure and opportunities.
