Course Curriculum Overview
As this course provide the tag I wanted , that's why I took this course . And bds itself provide specialization in teeth Like if we do MDS we would be a master in this field. For improvement I would suggest that they should use more flowcharts to teach . The frequency of exams is perfect, and I have heard that the difficulty level is increasing now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of this college for bds is 47600 for general category . This is a year wise fee including the hostel fees and security fees , lab fees . Mess charges are around 4k per month . For obc category the fees is 38600 per year . This college provide up scholarship of 25 k That is a huge amount .
Campus Life
My experience is going great. There is a rhapsody for annual KGMU events . Freshers for first year . And many more like we celebrate every festival with seniors and our faculties. There are many clubs like nmo organization involved in this college for it's betterment. The facilities are great in classroom Ac is provided in every classroom.
Hostel Facilities
We get in a room a bed , mattress, study table, seperate washroom and a balcony Meal quality is okayish and the menu seems interesting . Registration is done on the day of admission And they take charges of 2100/- per year.
Admission
I got IMS BHU for BDS But I opted KGMU As there is no comparison between BDS and MBBS students in this college. Every faculty treats us equally But in BHU , there's a lot of comparison between BDS student and MBBS students. Through neet only we can get this college I got it as my score was 640/720 . Cutoffs are very high as this is one of the most prestigious college in uttar pradesh.
Faculty
Ratio is huge Like there is 2 jrs and one professor in every class . And they are very generous We can ask any queries related to our studies . They are polite to us. And I personally liked physiology teachers And anatomy too . They take viva on daily basis so that in the end , syllabus won't be piled up . For exams, there is a prof in a year And pre-prof i.e terminals for a year . Nd 3 exams of 3 hrs 20 mins will be conducted. Generally few students like 2-3 fails the exam. Nd this course is very much relevant as bds provides it's own specialization itself.
Night Life
There is gym ,3 cafeteria in the campus for students and many more for patients. There are like 30 gates of kgmu Whole campus is too much awesome. Our hostel rooms look like a flat room Providing every facilities like geyser. For hangout places there are cafes outside Otherwise the saraswati lawn itself is a best place to roam around.
