The Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences was set up in 1996, offering the BDS course and named ‘Sardar Patel Post Graduate Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences’ as a tribute to the Iron Man of India – Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. MDS courses were started in the year 2004 recognized for all 9 branches of Dentistry. The college is recognized by the DCI and affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University.
