Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well structured with the balance of practical as well as theoritical knowledge. Clinical exposure provide the required handskills to students and prepare them for clinical work. University exams are conducted at the end of curriculum with moderate difficulty level.
Internships Opportunities
One year mandatory internship is provided to all the students in the hospital itself. In the internship they are giben rotation in various departments and provided with the required knowledge. The stipend provided is around 12k per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for general stidents is 48k that includes tution fee of 18k and also hostel charges of 5k. The category students has to pay around 39k and their tution fee is 9k. There are scolarships provided by the state government to the student on the basis of merit and attendance.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite exciting for students. Various events are conducted all year round. The main events include RHAPSODY which is the annual fest that takes place in the month of October, next we have SARWASATI POOJA on the occasion of vasant panchmi. Apart from this various other programs like annual sports fest, cricket tournament, freshers, farewell and various other functions are organized. There is a huge sports ground that includes basketball court, lawn tennis court, volleyball court football ground etc. There is also gym and indoor games like table tennis. Swimming pool is also there in the campus. A central library is there with required sitting.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel provided are satisfactory. Mess food is quite good with a weekly menu. Hostel provide a reading room and a common room with some indoor games such as table tennis, carrom etc. Yoga class is also organized on few sundays. Hostel rooms are provided in sharing of two. The hostel is quite affordable.
Admission
Admission to this college is based on the NEET marks. According to my marks this was the best college one could get. It is one of the top college for BDS. The facilities here are top notch. I also applied for BHU and MAIDS but keeping all the requirrd factors in mind like campus life, work enviornment, culture and all the other things this was the brst option for me.
Faculty
The faculties are very supportive and encouraging. Along with theoritical knowledge they also focus on practical knowledge as well. The faculties are always welcoming for doubts and problem of students. Only negative point is due to busy schedule of proffesors sometimes they fail to come to class. From time to time internal assesments are done and at the end proffesional exams are conducted which goes very smoothly.
