Very good faculty and they are very helpful and very knowledgeable
You will get lots of opportunities for scholarships ( government as well as private scholarships).
Placement and intership are pretty good like iits or better than some iits and nits

Dislikes

Ya faculties are well qualified upto the degrees of phd and post docatarate but in terms of teaching they are not very good i say.they just come in class with ppts and start whispering and no one listens actually
There are some who teach good, but don't support students.
Some faculty isnt well versed in their subjects or simply dont know how to teach

All Round Review for COEP Technological University

Likes

Faculties are highly qualified having MS and PHD degrees from Premium Institutes IITs, NITs, and IISc
The College have a great campus divided into two parts joined by an underground Subway. There are seperate Buildings for every Department
The College has a great Boat Club where Students can learn Rowing and Kayaking

Dislikes

The College has a Fee hike Policy of around 10000 Rs per year

Placement Experience:

The Placements in this College are Excellent. The Average package of college is 12 Lakhs Per Annum. Many Product Based Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon. Both Domestic and International packages are Offered to Students. Around 90% students applied for placement get placed.

Exploring Excellence With COEP

The college envirnoment was very good. As it's one of the best institute under the state government facilities are up to date. Its an autonomus institute its syllabus is up to date as per industries need and covers all the important concepts needed
for competative exams. One of the important that attracts many students is its placements. COEP provides you great placement opportunities as good as any NIT or lower IIT's.
Any college's placements can not be judged by its IT placements. COEP core placements are better any other Tier 2 college as some leading companies like Texas Instrumentations, Synopsis hires our bright minds

Dislikes

The way of teaching is very poor as compared to private institute.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem onwards companies offer internships to 3rd-year students and in the 7th sem the placements cycle starts. Every year around 200+ companies visit campus and almost every student who appears for placement receives an offer. Some of the top recruiters like D E Shaw, and Arcesium offer around 50 lakhs, and others like Wells Fargo, BNY Mellon, CITI, and Deutsche Bank offer around 20-25 lakhs. Overall average CTC offered is around 10-12 LPA for the CS IT branches and 8-9 LPA for non-CS IT.

Topper's View on College and Experience

Likes

Things I liked about college is college curriculum. College curriculum is similar to IIT's. We have good subjects to study.
Second is club culture. Here we have lots of club which include some serious club which is based on real life problem solving. We have satellite club. In 2016, coep satellite was launched by isro.
Third thing is Placement. We have good placement here. With less than lakh fees per year we get around 10 lakhs per annum

Dislikes

Qaulity of teaching. Some teachers are best, some are medium, some are worst.
Food Quality in mess is good but not best
Fees, as we are coming here after getting top ranks in maharashtra though over fees are very high comparative to other private colleges. We are from government college.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. Now the percentage is reduced. Before 5 years, we have 100% placement here. Now it is around 80% because of recession in companies. Average package if you are from computer department is 12 lakhs per annum. If you are good in study you can get 20lk easily. Great.

College has big name, if we study properly we can get placement easily. If we maintain CGPA of 8+ you can guarantee placement in case of CS branch so nice placements if you study well
Have different types of fest so can gain good experience apart from study
Nice campus in the middle of the pune city as well as hostel is nice but tough competition of boys for hostel

Dislikes

Very High fees of hostel now it is 45k when is taken admission it was only 30k so don't know how much it will rise
If you are below average student you can not make placement
One last thing which most of us hate regionalism in the campus it is very disgusting everyone make their internal group region wise you can experience during election voting in one room of first year

Placement Experience:

College has good placement cell under Raju Ladhwe sir you guarantee placement if you have 8 cgpa or greater computer branch has highest package college average is 7lac last year electronics branch has highest placement percentage

College of entertainment Pune

Likes

The labs basically developed in our branch are really very good and contains a lot of informative tools, machines, digital system
Friends circle which you build while participating in various fests like mindspark,impressions, zest are some of prominent festivals in our college

Dislikes

Accounts, student section staff are really very poor and arrogant
Some teachers Do not cover the whole syallabus during the time but expect the students to score full marks
Placement scenario for branch is pretty slow and average package is also not much helpful for student being a coepian

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement drive in their 7th semester of college which is fourth year company starts coming at the beginning of 4th year keep certain criteria like cgpa no backlog etc. 20+ companies visit the campus for each branch and take the students as per profile and caliber. Computer has the highest placement rate of 90+% and also core students have quite a good placement of 70%. My branch is about 65%. The highest salary offered this year is 52 lpa for computer students as software development role. The average package is about 8 lpa for my branch mfg. My plan after the degree is of higher education after a certain experience of 2-3 yrs in a company.

COEP Tech Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is great. It is mostly GATE-oriented. We do have some unnecessary subjects but students can clear them easily. We also have interdisciplinary subjects which are necessary for overall development but at the same time, feel like a burden. We also have elective subjects.

Great opportunities if you study well

Likes

Technical clubs are pretty good specially automotive related then satelite club is good, robot study circle is intresting to join
Boat club provide best view and also provide training to row nad other things
College ground is big providing great opportunities there is also horse riding facility in some cases

Dislikes

Small campus reletive to iits also crowded roads to each campus is divided in 4 part because of road and flyovers
Hostels are not good dirty bathroom no water most of times
Exams are tough enough they really test you you need to study much to survive

Placement Experience:

After 6 sem we are eligible for placement. Companies visited are Bajaj Caterpillar Mercedes Benz, Tata Motors, tata steel, Maruti Suzuki, hero motors, Anad Group, and Philips, the list is big. A number of offers are 40+. The highest package for the manufacturing science department is 14 lpa company is Elctromech. The average package is around 7 lpa. Around 70% of placement offers from the campus itself many students are placed with their network and intership ppos. My plan is to get experience in industry

The campus is really good. The main attraction of the campus is the building which very old but very well maintained.
The extracurricular activities held by college are awesome. College provide lots of internship like we recently had social internship this summer. Events like gathering, impression, mindspark makes the journey more enthusiastic.
Some of the teachers of some departments like mathematics and physics are really supportive.

Dislikes

The faculty of my department is not that interested in teaching.
Almost all subjects have practicals but some of them are not taken seriously.
There is highway between the college and the hostel which makes students quite bore to go to college by such a long walk.

Placement Experience:

The highest package was 50.5 lpa for 2023. Not all students are interested in placement so placement ratio is quite low. Avg package of computer engineering branch was 17 lpa. Lots of companies visit our college. Last year approx 200 companies visited our college. Companies like whipro, semens, TCS, axis,etc often visit our college

COEP - THE DREAM COLLEGE

COEP gives a great exposure to the students. There are more than 40 clubs which helps students to grow not only in academics but also in the other sectors.
College Campus is big. The college life here is so good. As, students are admitted from all over India. So there is a cultural diversity in the campus.
This 4 fests are not only for fun but they help students to grow their skills in team management, event management, connect with different people. Each fest has its unique quality.

Dislikes

The Hectic shedule of the college is not good. Due to Corona the syllabus was covered in a great speed i.e. each semester was completed only in3 months. For completion of syllabus faster we have to give exam in every 20 days.
As the college is situated in the centre of the city there is alot of traffic. Many flyovers go from above of the college due to which there is alot of noises of horns which is quite irritating. Also there is a railwaystation at backside of college .
Network Connectivity is the worst problem in COEP. In the college campus you could not get even small amount of signal. you can only connect to the college wifi by registerarting in college. It is very difficult to make calls in College Campus.

Placement Experience:

Our College have a good placement records. Most of the students are placed every year. Some of the students go for further education as soon as their btech is completed while other go for the Civil services. Every year more thsn 150+ comapnies visit in our college.Many Big Multinational companies come everyyear in the college.The highest package in our College is nearly about 50 lakh per annum. and the average package is about 8 lakhs per annum. Students sre eligible for the placements after the 7th sem. Companies start to come from the 7th semester in college. The percentage of the students varies according to the course. The package also varies according to the branches. The highest and good packages are recived by CS,IT,Entc students. Nearly 80-90% students are placed every year. I have planned to persue MBA after the completion of the Degree.

Likes

Campus is good, Faculties are good, Good classrooms
Large campus with proper management, Proper academic structure
Proper fests, sports and event management

Dislikes

Not any specific thing, good at almost everything
Nothing more to say thats it nothing more that i disliked
Large academic curriculum and less time tto cover sylabus

Placements of COEP are worth known to everyone. Our college provides decent to good placements and is ranked No. 1 in Pune. Average package of COEP is 8.5lpa considering all branches. Campus placements take place from 7th sem whereas internship opportunities take place from 6th sem

COEP Pune is a reputed technological institute and offers decent academics and placement opportunities to the students. As far as teaching goes, you can expect to have 50-50 experience. Some of the faculties are excellent and have in-depth knowledge about their subjects, while others are not so much. COEP has a good infrastructure. The departmental labs are well-equipped.

The institute has a good placement record. The highlights of recent COEP placements show the median CTC to be around INR 5 LPA. VISA, eBay, Barclays, Oracle, etc. are among the major recruiters to visit the campus placement.

COEP’s Techfest - Mindspark is the largest techfest in Maharashtra after IITB’s techfest.
