I first wanted to take admission in international department but later I got in comparative literature...the subject was really so new to me but I have enjoyed reading some topics I have in my syllabus...the subject doesn't have that much connection with the real world but I hope the syllabus get changed and add some topics that are really interesting and connect with the real world... The students get 2 hours for 30 marks questions we for now don't feel any difficulties to write on the time so it is enough for us

The faculty members are really wonderful. They engage with students and never let them miss out on anything. If they do, the faculty is always ready to guide and help. The semester question papers are also of a moderate level, not too easy and need critical analysis.

This course was always my passion. The teacher-student ratio is fairly good. All the faculty members are top-notch in their qualifications and teaching procedure. The exams were conducted timely and it was really difficult to pass there, but if one followed the texts and teacher's notes, it would be a lot easy for them to pass and score good marks.

I have a interest in literature and I was a arts student in +2 level so I thought jadavapur is the best option, here is a great campus life and teachers are very helpful. My elder brother who completed his graduation from Jadavpur university he suggested me and now I can say This is the best campus life u will get. I love my university a lot __

The campus, courses and faculty are very inclusive and lets its students grow freely so that they can tackle their lives inside the university and outside of it, come what may. The campus provides the liberty to be whatever an individual wants to be and helps to give it a shape by guiding through it.

It is just as well a politically active college with numerous political ideologies and thereby people with their own ideologies, and as well as Jadavpur is known to be a university in upheaval, it is as stable as any other highly regarded government institution that doesn't discriminate between students and provide adequate amenities for the most underprivileged to the proper privileged in the same way.

Everything is just positive. The students union is really active and voice the students. Help them and fight for the issues of the students. Even recently they lowered the fees of mass communication department from 60K to 20K
