IIT Roorkee Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 7th semester the students are eligible for placements. Many Companies like Google, Microsoft, Quantbox, Adobe, JP Morgan come to our college and on an average hire 6-8 students per company. Average packages were around 15 LPA. More than 80% of the students who applied got placed. I will pursue MBA after my degree

After 6 semester students are eligible. Around 150+companies visited with offers over 500+. Highest package of 1crore and avaerage was 12lakhs in a profile ranging from Tech, meachinacal, civil and consulting. Around 75% students got placement. Just focussing on Job now.

For placement students get eligible from 7th semester for the companies that visited last year was about 330 companies visited and about total of 1100 offers were made to the students . the big names that visited were (tata steel ,google ,microsoft JLR) and many others.The highest package last year was about 1.3 crores and avg package was about 19 lakh. The placement rate was abo ut 100%. I will get placed and offer my service to the comapny.

As It's An Iit Placements Are Excellent. Every Year Top Mncs, Companies, And Psu Visit Our Campus For Placement Seasons. Placement Season Is Divided In 3 Phases Starts In The Last Week Of November. Various Companies Like Google, Apple, Microsoft, L&T, Goldman Sachs, Bmw, Audi Etc visit campus And Offer Anuaal Ctc Starting From 25Lpa And Goes Around 2Cr+. Around 90% of Students Get Whooping Offers Every Year. The Remaining 10% Opt For Higher Studies, Upsc Etc. Right Now I'M Preparing For Placements.

Campus placements commence in the final year. Many renowned companies participate, with Day 0 and Day 1 hosting major recruiters for about six months. The highest package reaches up to 20-30 LPA, showcasing excellent opportunities. The average placement percentage is noteworthy. Personally, my plans post-degree involve exploring career opportunities aligned with my specialization and interests.

After completion of 6th semester there is a placement season A lots of companies come every year and they place a. Lot fraction of students Ofc there is not 100% placement but with goot skills amd cgpa you can sit in most of them Even though your cgpa lacks you can sit om the basisi of your skills

From 7th sem There are a lot of companies here for example google, quant , tata , jaguar , hindustan liver and no of offer will be around 700 Highest package goes around 1.5 cr domestic and average is different for all branches combined average will be 18lpa 80% people gets placed

Students in there final year of there respective course is eligible for college placement .Lots offer are offered during campus placement. If i talk about mechanical engineering almost 120 students are placed and the placement session is still going on

Like my course is 4 years and students start getting on-campus internship opportunities in their pre-final year. They can also do off-campus internships in their 2nd year but prefers on-campus opportunities many Companies of IT like Microsoft, google, and Graviton visit campus for hiring and they give decent packages and are also open for all students like if you are a circuital branch then surely you can a decent package if you do a little bit of hard work during your degree The highest package gone last year was around 2.5 cr offered to 4 CSE students and the average package of my branch is about 15 lakh per year For mechanical engineering total of 110 students placed out of 150 branch strenght . My plans are after degree are at a bit of government job side like UPSC due to family reasons

This course is related to the mechanical core ,which fascinated me . Thus course give practical knowledge of machine and machining processes. New courses could be included which give basic knowledge of other branches. Exams are held twice in a single semester.
