IIT Roorkee Ph.D Chemical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

In the final year of the course, students become eligible for placement opportunities, with some receiving Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) from their internships. Many companies participate in the placement sessions, offering salary packages that can range from lakhs to crores, although PhD students are not included in these placements. While there are many internship opportunities available, securing them depends largely on the student's own effort and determination.

For PhD students, the program fee is Rs. 42,000, which includes all facilities such as mess and hostel. Additionally, PhD students receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000 from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which can help cover these expenses.
