The college provides scholarship facilities for students who are good in the study.
Hostel of the college is amazing 24 wifi , electricity is available through the day washrooms are also good ,there is not much restriction in any thing the rent of these hostel are very less 4480 for one year.
The environment of university is definitely very clean and fresh with natural beauty, some facilities like bus, security guard parking, play ground, canteen cafe are available here, hills beauty is seen in this campus

Dislikes

The cut off marks for hnbgu is very low and also it has spot counseling at the vacant seats.
It is very difficult to get proper schedule of exams.getting time table issues are being faced for many years.we can't prepare for our exam by following this chaotic exam schedule.
The student clubs i hate the most there always noise around the college. student gather and do unusual noise to disturb others. that impact college reputation.

From addmission to all the cons of the college

Attendace here is not mandatory provide extra curricular unit of ncc and nss
Budget friendly college you can prepare for diff competitve exams while pursuing your degree

Dislikes

Sometimes teachers are too harsh with student
It is affiliated to garhwal university ehich usually don't offer good marks in your marksheet
Politics is too much in this college it should be reduced

It was my decision to go with bsc in science There is about 70-80 studens in each section Faculty are highly educated Semester exams are carried out approx with a gap of 6 months if you are even studying for the exams before a month you'll be able to pass it easily

The real truth of DBS college

Likes

Faculties and fests of college and geology lab
The auditorium and availability of books
The nearby book stores and the snacks point

The building are very old and the furniture
The labs are not maintained except geology lab
The department office is also not very maintained

I chose this course because after completing this course we can apply for various government sector jobs, research sector jobs and various IT sector jobs like consultant, data analyst, and data science and we can go for teaching as well Or we can go for higher studies Teachers are well qualified and have done phd in their field Exams are semester-wise (held twice in year) It is easy to pass the exam if we study on a daily basis

Library: HNBGU has a big library free for all students.
Professors: Professors are very supportive and always ready to clear student's doubt.
University Election's:Election's are like a big festival and students get a chance to represent themselves.

Dislikes

Management:They don't have proper management which cause trouble for students.
Lack of discipline in students and dispute in them.
HNBGU Birla Campus don't have clean classes.

I am doing B.Sc (Mathematics) from HNBGU, because Mathematics was my main subject in Intermediate School. There are good faculties for almost all subjects. They are all updated about their subject. All professors have done a brilliant job in their subject and they also support students in innovations. After every 6 months we have semester exams, 2 or 3 months before semester exams we have Sessional exams and practical exams.

Likes

College resides in the the dehradun area, very beautiful weather and fresh air in the campus
College have a very multi program syllabus, let's the student perform in every field
Teachers are supporting, we need not to attend the the class whole day

Dislikes

We are not given any specified holiday, we go home before the exams, when the syllabus is over
Campus is not so big, sometimes it feels so small
U cannot go out from the campus before lunch

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 7 semesters. Many companies will come and hire you. The highest package is Almost 10lpa. Almost 80% of the students get placed. I have my own plans if I don't get a job.

All faculties are very Friendly and qualified
This college is very budget friendly, everyone can afford

College should add some new courses for the students
The infrastructure should be renovate because its looks old

Because of my interest in this course and I want to get some knowledge about science. All the faculty are good and there are 5 teachers for 60 students. Maximum teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders. In 3 months, we had CCE exams and in 6 months we had session exams.

Budget friendly but limited facilities

Some Faculty was good . It was quite affordable
NSS was available so i explored through it and gained knowledge.
Library is good , they provide books to you easily.

Dislikes

Infrastructure was not good. It needs a lot of maintenance
We doesn't get much information about the events and competitions.

I opted for that because I was interested in mathematics and wanted to pursue further studies in it. There were 5-6 faculty members for 60 students. The faculty was well qualified, net qualified and phd holders. The teaching method of some faculty members is quite good but some are just ok. Exams used to be conducted on proper timing and it was not much difficult to pass.

I chose this course because I had a keen interest in maths and wanted to learn more about this field plus I am thinking of cracking govt exams also so maths is really helpful everywhere. The faculty is fine (not very friendly ). All the professors teaching me are very skilled and prolific in their fields. It is easy to pass the exams. Every semester there are exams.

This is my HNB Garhwal University

Likes

Campus, faculty, social programs in college.
NCC, sports activities and social activities like NSS.
Wa situated at middle of city, so was easily accessible.

Dislikes

Campus is in dence market, you may face difficulties if using own vehicle to go college.
Election's time is very bad time for students actually.
Some times students leaders creates unnecessary problem in campus.

I was an average student since childhood and I got average numbers in 12th standard which is enough to choose the science stream. The faculty was good. Generally, there are a batch of 120 to 150 students per batch. All professors are highly qualified and were masters in their respective subjects. Term exams are once a year and not that tough to pass.
