HNBGU- undiscovered paradise

Likes

I like the environment here as it is in the hilly areas. Weather is tolerable and enjoyable all year round
Facilities provided are top notch. There are gym,basketball court, cricket pitch, football ground and more

Dislikes

Attendance issue is prevalent here as 75% attendance is mandatory which is not good for professional courses
The quality of education and teacher is not up to the mark as most teachers are alumni of nameless colleges

Placement Experience:

Placement scenioro here is decent. Students get placed in reputed companies like TCS, wipro and psu like BHEL. Students become eligible for placement from 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro, zomato, swiggy have visited the campus and 56 offers were made in total by these companies. Highest package offered was 20 lakh and the average is 4 lakh offered by mass recruiters like TCS. 70% students ended up getting placed I plan on doing M.Tech from IIT after B. Tech

Scenic view around the university with fresh air
Good environment with all around mountains and trees

Dislikes

Campus is a little bit lengthy if you don't have a bike or scooty you have to travel by foot which is a little disgusting

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester you are eligible for campus placement Last year ,tech Mahindra ,Tata came here Package differ between 4 lpa to 8 lpa For sitting in the placement you must have 7 CGPA After graduation I'll be taking placement from this college

Hnbgu everything you need to know before coming

Likes

Good ratio of boys and girls easy to talk open minded environment
The environment and seniors whole as a vibe are amazing no ragging basic intro

Dislikes

No culturaal activity even when funding is available
Leopard sabotages all night life you are locked in your house after 10

Placement Experience:

Employment opportunities are non existent you hve to apply yourself many startups offer 20k/month that is all you have to apply yourself and get into something highest package was 7.5lpa and average in 3.5lpa not many students get placement after degree i plan to more abroad that is the best way to be paid good

There are a lot of things to explore in your life
Every year 3-4 big fests are held and every months small events was held for betterment of clg life

Dislikes

The placement cell is not active most of the professional courses like b.tech ,b.pharma,mca etc

Placement Experience:

Some IT companies come to the campus, but not a single non-technical company has come to Campus. You are eligible in the 7th sem for placement. You can go for off-campus placement for the job. It is needed you have some contacts and the company that visits campus has a demand for 3 months internship.

The infrastructure and the environment of the college is very good
The provide internship and learning program

Dislikes

The college canteen was not so satisfying
Nothing more to dislike about the institution

If i talk about the placements it was good but before that a very interesting thing comes that is internship tha institution provide paid internships to the sudents before the completion of the courses and almost 80 percent student get placed on the internship period it self

The faculty teaches very well, all the faculties have a lot of experience
It is always helpful in strengthening our communication skills Inside the classroom, attention is paid to all the children. All the teachers behave in a friendly manner with the children so that they do not face any problem.

Likes

Faculty : Very helpful and knowledgeable in thier fields. Faculty focuses on each and every student.
Atmospher : Very helpful seniors and faced no ragging by seniors or anyone.

Dislikes

Contruction : When my course period is ending they have started construction
No lifts, I have to walk 3 floors to get into my class.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies vistied : Hero Honda, Spice jet,Dominos. Percentage of students getting placements : 50-70% My plan : To do MBA for attaining masters level knowledge in my field. & Become more professional and an asset for my future job.
