Course Curriculum Overview
Since turning autonomous, the course curriculum and structure has been revised and modified to be of utmost relevance to the subjects and profession. The faculty uses smart classes and demonstrations for practical underatandings which are truly appreciated.
Internships Opportunities
The college has its own clinics and hospital (Jan Kalyan Hospital) and so it provides ample opprotunity for students to get internships. They provide stipend free insternships. The interns would be expected to assess patients and implement instructions from the seniors.
Placement Experience
The college makes good use of its connections to provide students better future prospects and opportunities. The average package offered is 300000 p.a, and the highest has been over 15,00,000 p.a. I chose Sports asu specialization so I would like to get opportunities to work with athletes and national teams.
Fees and Financial Aid
Somce turning autonomous last yeat, annual fee for the course of MPT is 1,50,000, plus library fee, dwfs fee, examination fee and miscellaneous which overall amount to qlmost 1,58,000 per year. The fee could be submitted in two installments, for each semester.
Campus Life
The college doesn't compromise on its social and cultural activities, celebrating every festival (durga puja, diwali, holi) with great essence. It also gives its full attention to annual functions and sports.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilites are good enough in accordance with fees. It has laundry system, mess, library, gym, and hot water during winters. However the food isn't very good and the menu never changes so these are problems that needs rectifying.
Admission
I applied to various other colleges for the course, including SBS, Dehrdaun, SRM, Chennai, SVNIRTAR, Odisha, etc. While the two formers accepted my application, I couldn't qualify for the latter as it had only 15 seats and over 2000 applicants. At the end I chose Dolphin for it's affordability and course structure.
Faculty
The faculties are all very experienced and supportive. They are friendly and always try to be accommodating to the student's needs. They help students gain not only theoretical but also practical knowledge by providing opportunities on field.
Night Life
College timings are till 4:30 p.m however the premises are open till 7:30 p.m for athletes and players. Hostel has strict timings for closing - till 8 p.m. The location is quite isolated and surrounded by forests, not to mention public transport is rare. As such, it's not safe to stay too late near the area.
