All over it was a good experience in that college

Likes

Agriculture department faculties are quite experienced
Even same for the Forestry and Horticulture department

Dislikes

Management of the college is not good enough
There are always late fines even if your late only for somedays and no one will hear you out if your facing financial problems

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was told that this college is good so I took admission but it was not quite my expectations The college is good but management methods They should learn and understand situation of the students and should not ask late fines from them or should provide some extra due dates to them but no one listens not even the principal is worst they just care about money other than that from where your getting money or your parents arranging money they totally don't care about that

Likes

College resides in the the dehradun area, very beautiful weather and fresh air in the campus
College have a very multi program syllabus, let's the student perform in every field

Dislikes

We are not given any specified holiday, we go home before the exams, when the syllabus is over
Campus is not so big, sometimes it feels so small

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in 7 semesters. Many companies will come and hire you. The highest package is Almost 10lpa. Almost 80% of the students get placed. I have my own plans if I don't get a job.

The faculty-student ratio is pretty good they always guide us and provide us with information and behave in a frank way with us. I choose this course cause I was in a dilemma and thought this would be the best option at that moment. The faculty-student ratio is pretty satisfactory the faculties of my course provide the best teaching methods and resources for the students and are always available and attentive for helping students. Most of the faculties are qualified as Ph.D. in their respective subjects and their teaching method is simple yet explanatory. The term exams weren't exactly timed perfectly because of the covid situation and it was a bit difficult to pass those exams.

Placement Experience:

From 7/8 semester students are eligible for placement. There are various companies that visit our institution for providing offers to the students like seed companies, the agrochemical industry, etc. The average package is about 4-5 lakh for agriculture students. My plan after getting a degree is to start my own farm industry.
