HNBGU Admission 2024: UG, PG, Ph.D, Courses, Eligibility, Application Form, Last Date To Apply
For MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, M.Pharm, M.Tech, MSW, LLM, B.Pharm, B.P.Ed, BHM, B.Lib, and PG Diploma courses, admission is held through entrance test CUET. For MBA and B.Tech, admission is held through counselling based on merit of all-India tests such as CUET PG, CAT, MAT, CMAT, and JEE Main. Candidates can fill out the application form online. Apart from MBA and B.Tech, the application fee for General candidates is 250 INR, payable by SBI Challan.
For MBA and B.Tech courses, candidates first have to apply for their respective tests, such as CAT, MAT or JEE Main. Thereafter, they have to fill out the HNBGU application form on the official website of the university for MBA and B.Tech. The application fee for General candidates is 300 INR.
Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (formerly known as Garhwal University) was established in 1973 in Srinagar town in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand state in Northern India. Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University is affiliated to the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) in New Delhi, offering a vast range of courses at UG and PG level. Few areas of the subjects hold a doctoral level degree.
Admission in some of the courses is made through an admission test conducted by the university while the admission in the others is done by a personal counselling arranged by the university authority.

HNBGU UG Admission 2024
H.N.B Garhwal University, Srinagar offers various UG courses for a duration of 3-4 years. Students can also opt for Pharmaceutical and Hons. Courses. HNBGU UG Selection Criteria
Candidates willing to seek admission in UG courses at HNBGU will have to clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The CUET (UG)-2024 will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. Candidates may register for CUET from the HNBGU portal or by visiting @cuet.samarth.ac.in. Few courses are offering direct admission. Admission to the majority of courses will be based on the CUET merit list.
- CUET 2024 is divided into 4 sections.
- Candidates will have to choose any 3 languages (maximum)
- Candidates applying for B.A, B.Sc(Yoga & Naturopathy) will need to give General Test to seek admission
- For B.Tech and B.Sc, Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For candidates who are opting for B.Tech after the CUET 2024 merit list gets exhausted, a counselling session will take place on JEE mains’ merit score.
- Candidates who are taking admitted to B.Tech (Lateral entry in all the branches) at HNBGU will be selected on the basis of the CUET 2024 Merit list.
HNBGU UG Application Process
Candidates will first have to register on the official website of NTA after which they will have to register on the HNBGU portal. Candidates can check the process given below to apply to HNBGU:
- Candidates can visit the official website and apply only in online mode at cuet.samarth.ac.in/. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Candidates must provide an appropriate e-mail ID and Mobile number for receiving confirmation SMS by NTA
- Candidates must enter their personal and academic details properly and upload the scanned copies of their signature, photograph, mark sheet and other certificates
- Candidates must pay the application fee in online mode through credit/Debit card/Net banking.
- Candidates must take out a printout of the application form for future use.

PG programme:
At the PG level the university the university serves Master of Science (M.Sc) programme under multiple specializations with a duration of two years for each of the specializations. Candidates need to hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

- This college is not good for career orientation as there is no placement cell
Admission:
1. I applied for LLB course only in which I got admission. As per CT criteria that we can got confirm with here only. 2. I didn't get rejection but a criteria was not fair from my side. 3. Before this academic year it was done by giving exam of cuet but nowadays it is being conducted from the university by it own.
Likes
- The campus is very clean. It is huge in area.
- Gym, library and sports ground facilities are available
Dislikes
- College should also focus on the all round development of the students
- College should organise fest for the recreation of the students
Admission:
This was the first college that i applied to and i got admitted. The admission process of my college is quite cumbersome. The eligibility is based on the marks obtained in NEET exam. MBBS is most preferred by students, cutoffs for these exams varies every year.
Likes
- Studies, specifically I really like my subject
- The teaching of professors is very nice.
Dislikes
- Menu of cafeteria must be enhanced. We have a narrow menu
- More industrial or outdoors experience must be provided

Because the first day of my admission I was addressed to the study culture of this collage which was my main aim. I wanted a great knowledge so that my concepts could be cleared. As well as I was getting the best combination of subjects . As well as the green campus was what pulled me alot. I really appreciateed the way the campus is presented it is so clean. We have dustbins at allmost every step. And the discipline of students to not litter around the campus is also amazing

- The boy girl ratio in the college is 1:1
- Various sports and cultural events are held throughout the year
Dislikes
- The size of the campus is quite small as compared to other medical colleges of the state
- The food served in the mess is quite average in taste
Admission:
The major factor which encouraged me to join this college is that it is located near my house. Also this college has one of the best infrastructure in the state. The college is located in Dehradun which is a great place to be in.
Likes
- Buses are provided for hostelers which is good thing as the college are far from hostel
- You get to make new friends from different parts of region
Dislikes
- Teachers are not well punctual for classes
- Infrastructure are poor and there's leakage in the classes
Admission:
My college was the only college which I applied for. I knew about this college as my elder sister previously studied here . It is an easy process to do the admission. If your percentage is above 60% you can get an access to admission directly.
Likes
- Campus is really nice with a well maintained gym and completely air conditioned library
- Faculty is very good in some department in others it is ok.
Dislikes
- The lecture theatres are not air conditioned well
- Vehicles are not allowed in the campus area which is a problem in rainy season or in summer
Admission:
I applied for all the government colleges in uttarakhand and gmc haldwani was my first choice as this college have the largest campus the biggest hospital and the most patient inflow. You have to give neet exam and you will be selected in the college through a state level councelling process based on merit

- College teachers of my department especially were very cooperative.
- The infrastructure is clean with all the required amenities.
Dislikes
- There is no proper placement facility for students of the college.We didn't got any placement opportunity in our department but maybe things have improved in this matter too.
Admission:
The infrastructure and facilities are approved and appropriate for each student from different departments and courses.I even applied in Graphic Era,also got admission in my desired course.But,I choose this college due to its more affordable tution fee structure and environment.

- The college's infrastructure is pretty nice as it's a government college. So according to it, the college has so many facilities to students during classes and practical.
- The teacher of the college are also hardworking in their particular subjects and try their best for the students.
Admission:
After completing my 12 standard, I was not sure about the colleges so my family admissioned me that college and I wasn't well known of any courses so I chose this course randomly. The procedure of admission was to choose two core subjects between three subjects and one of them will be additional for 2 years and in the last year of the college, the additional subject would be eliminated.
Likes
- Quality of education is good ..professors are dedicated towards their work
- campus is large ..and college have several separate departments
Dislikes
- lack of Faculty in some departments is a major issue
- old infrastructure of college like lecture theatre does not give good experience to students

government medical college haldwani is the oldest college of uttrakhand and is a prestigious institute the faculty the hostels and the campus area is good enough this colkege is also close from my hometown

- I like the classrooms they are very neat and clean
- Bus facilities are their for students who are staying away from university
Dislikes
- There were no proper facilities for parking of outsiders
- Attendance shpuld be more than 75% for attending exams

I got the admission in Central university of Uttarakhand through CUET exam and i also applied in BHU and i also crossed the cutoff but the admission process was already completed . I applied in this college from knowing from my friends because of i took admission in this college

You can get direct admission in the B.Sc program of this university. Admission to the B.Sc programs is granted based on the merit of CUET UG followed by counseling. If you do not have a valid CUET UG 2022 score, you will not be able to get admission in the 2022-23 academic session.
