The college provides scholarship facilities for students who are good in the study.
Hostel of the college is amazing 24 wifi , electricity is available through the day washrooms are also good ,there is not much restriction in any thing the rent of these hostel are very less 4480 for one year.
The environment of university is definitely very clean and fresh with natural beauty, some facilities like bus, security guard parking, play ground, canteen cafe are available here, hills beauty is seen in this campus

Dislikes

The cut off marks for hnbgu is very low and also it has spot counseling at the vacant seats.
It is very difficult to get proper schedule of exams.getting time table issues are being faced for many years.we can't prepare for our exam by following this chaotic exam schedule.
The student clubs i hate the most there always noise around the college. student gather and do unusual noise to disturb others. that impact college reputation.

Friendly and supportive nature of faculty
Fresh environment surrounded by mountain

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as it is something that I liked a lot. Computer science is the course of the future and I am a lot interested in programming and developing technology for the user. Faculty and student ratio is very good as batch size is just about 40(in cse). All the faculties are highly qualified some are from IITs , IISC BANGALORE, nits , jadavpur university etc. mostly having PhDs in their respective field , some are pursuing their PhDs.

campus is very beautiful surrounded by mountains cool weather clean air .
libaray provides a good environment to study in silence
political environment teaches you many things

Dislikes

management needs to be improved they do not focus on clineliness
placement opportunities is quite low although a placement cell is made but still it need to be improved.
couse structure for b.tech cse need to be changed as what is the need to study subject like physics chemistry evs as the company dont want it.

i chose this cource as i wanted to be a cyber security engineer. our faculty members are quite familiar and helpful , they keep motivating us. most of the faculties are phd or persuing phd and their teaching method is good

Hemwati nandan bahugna garhwal University . SOMETIMES GOOD SOMETIMES BAD

Likes

Campus life , studies , good faculty , good infrastructure
Teachers are very experienced and helping and giving good guidance

Dislikes

Placements are very low. You have to apply for off campus placements
Hostel availability is very low. There are very low beds in hostel. So if you have percentage around 80 in 12th class then only you can get hostel otherwise not. You have to take a room outside the campus .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B. Tech (EIE) Course because I dont have as much CUET score to get computer science branch. Faculty student ratio is 10:1 Faculty is very good and teachers are highly qualified. Teachers are very experienced and teaches very smoothly so that students can understand and connect with them. Exams are held after every 4 months . The semester is 4 months long and can be extended to 6 months as well .

Likes

The weather and view of the college in winter and rainy season
The faculty are good but this is not for every faculty you have to do your study by yourself

Dislikes

In summer season this place like a hot bowl because it is hot as delhi
The college fee is very low but other expenses are very high

The college has no placement cell but, I talk to my seniors they say most of the students work hard and get off-campus placement. One of my seniors gets the 15 lpa package. If you are good at studies and a hardworking student no one can stop you to achieve your goal.

Placement Experience:

Forget about campus placements. Teachers do help out with placements, but students need to do most of it on their own. Placements are fine in cse, it, and ece branches but mechanical and other branches need to have better placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronic because I am a diploma holder and there is good faculty in the ECE branch, every subject has its own teacher, and overall a good faculty ratio because it is central university teachers are extremely qualified. Good infrastructure, with library and lab facilities. Lab classes, lectures, and smart classes are organized in a proper manner according to time table. The exam is held twice a year and the passing criteria are moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is very less faculty for all courses and regular classes but there is less faculty so not enough time for lecturers to teach all courses and more leisure time for students. In leisure time we can concentrate on other technical skills. The exams are given much importance and teachers solve our every doubt before the exam.

Remarks:

It is a central government university and one of the cheapest college in the country. Overall university infrastructure is awesome. Fee is very less and also hostel fee is on of the cheapest in the country. Environment is very competitive if you are with the right people.
