MNNIT Allahabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In terms of placements of IT companies, the track record is really good. The average package for an IT or CS student is around 10 LPA. But for other branches, it needs improvement in the TPR dept. Specially branches like biotech and production fail to attract many companies.

Placement is best Here compared to all NITs ( no doubt about it). Generally Companies come here in starting of 6th Semester ( i.e mid-end of 3rd year). All the best Companies come here for placements like Google , Microsoft etc. For Computer Science , average revolves around 18-19 Lacs with Highest Package Going upto 51 Lacs. About 88-90% Students are placed in the placement procedure.

in the final year the Students get the chance to sit in campus placements. All the famous companies like google ,amazon,Microsoft, Cisco,jp morgan,visit the campus and hire the Students at good packages.

Internship opportunity is provided at the end of the second year. Many companies visit the campus and most of the students get PPOs at the end of internships. Companies visit the campus to hire engineers in the beginning of fourth year. There is almost 95% placement from the college. For the year 2020-2021 maximum CTC is around 52 lakh and the average package is 19 lakh.

MNIT offers various courses one of them is MBA/PGDM, to take admission in MBA you have to give Common Entrance Test (CAT), if you scored qualified grades in CAT then you can fill up the online application form for MNIT.

After applying, I was shortlisted based on my CAT scores and past academic performance. I had to appear for the GD and personal interview round. To prepare for this round, I went through the current affairs section extensively for the few days.

Based on CAT score I was selected and asked to attend the second round of admission which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview. I prepared comprehensively for this round by going through almost all current affairs happening in India and the world.

We were able to secure the maximum pay offer of 49 lakh throughout our 2020 placement campaign. Many prominent and recognized firms have visited the school during recruiting sessions in order to hire us for various positions with attractive annual compensation packages. Accenture, Myntra, Intel, LinkedIn, Infosys, Google, JP Morgan & Chase, Hero, Oyo, IBM, Wells Fargo, Uber, Tata Steel, and other prominent recruiters have engaged us. My institute also provided us with strong job opportunities through the central Training & Placement (T&P) Cell in nearly every subject and specialty.

The students of the 5th Sem are eligible for Internships and students from the 7th sem are eligible for placements. Around 300+ companies visit every year to recruit students from all branches. The highest CTC awarded is 52 LPA in the electrical and CS branch. For Mech Engg highest CTC awarded is 18 LPA and the average CTC is 7.69 LPA with a placement percentage of about 80%+ for Mech Engg and overall 90%+. Like from the end of the third year you will get the opportunity to get placed in different companies. Each and every company visit here right from google, apple and Goldman Sachs they provide hefty amount to as well. Roughly in the biotech department 71%were able to fetch themselves a job. While others opt for higher education. Basically, each and everyone gets an opportunity to work for companies it depends on you to go for higher study or to work in corporates.
