Remarks

The admission process was quite smooth. You would be given a certain date for online counseling after clearing jee mains whereby you have to fill your colleges and course preference. After the allocation of seats, you have to go to the respective college on a certain date post which you have to submit fees. The hostel was allocated on the same day.

Course Curriculum Overview

In almost every college in India, you have to study yourself be it IIT or NIT or any other college. Faculty is good but you can't rely on them for and everything. But the students that come here from different states help you to enrich your knowledge. Seniors guide you the most.

Placement Experience

In terms of placements of IT companies, the track record is really good. The average package for an IT or CS student is around 10 LPA. But for other branches, it needs improvement in the TPR dept. Specially branches like biotech and production fail to attract many companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is around 41000 and hostel fees are around 16000 per semester. By the end of the year, half of the hostel fees get refunded. There are several scholarships available for students from the EWS category. Overall your scholarship amount will be more than your fees if you are lucky enough to get it.

Campus Life

There are so many clubs and societies in college whereby you will get to learn a lot if you join them. Tech events and cultural events are there. The training and placement dept is there. several interstate societies of students from diff parts of the country will help you make comfortable around.

Hostel Facilities

You need to fill a form for a hostel. The college lies on the outskirts of the city so most students prefer to stay in hostels only. The hostel fees are also very affordable and no worries if you stay there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it.
