Course Curriculum Overview
This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition Fee: 105450 College security: 1000 Registration fee: 2000 Internal Test fee: 4000 Departmental society and outreach activities: 12950 Book bank: 9500 Career planning and Technical grooming: 12950 Institute industry interface: 12950 Medical insurance: 500 University Exam Fee: 7500 ID card fee: 2000 College uniform fee: 7500 This fees is applicable for all kind and categories of students but for students alloted seat under fee waiver quota are not required to give tuition fee. No scholarship from college side. But one can get it from other sources like UP government scholarship, central government scholarship, third party scholarships.
Campus Life
Fir this the college is really good. We had 3 days celebration of "20 years of excellence", where many big stars were called like mohan sisters, shreya ghoshal. And many big personalites keep visiting the campus very often. College has many clubs and students are also managing many clubs.
Admission
I chose this college because of discipline and placements. I got selected in government University like DU.... BSC. Hons computer science. And private university like GLA University, Sanskriti University, Amity University, Noida International University, Sharda University, ITS college, Galgotias college, Galgotias university, NIET, KCC, Accurate, United, SRM, IIMT, but selected GL bajaj for good placement, infrastructure, activities, training, fees.. Etc Students gets admitted to GLBITM by two ways 1: 12th basis. ( For CS related branch, needs more than 90% marks in PCM in boards) 2: AKTU counselling ( for CS related branch one needs 80%ile + marks in Jee Mains)
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 but every student is assigned a mentor with whom they can talk, discuss there every query from academics to personal life. I liked most of my faculties like Varun kumar Tanwar, Manvinder singh, seraj Ahmad, Heena gupta because of their expertise in their subjects and the way they used to explain things. The class was not sleep just because of the faculties. This faculty is also not bad but was neutral as he was not able to explain things well. But actually he was also having good knowledge in his subject. He was gaurav gupta. College is having 8 exams (4-sessional, 2-PUT, 2- UNIVERSITY)in one year. But for those who failed, their can be upto 14 exams in a year. students with good marks were in top sections like A, B, C etc.... so in my Section B, there were 4-5 student failed in one subject. But in lower sections like L,M half of the people used to fail in session exams. Not sure about university exams
Night Life
College have Gym, cafeteria, library and also have the same around college as well.... I am not aware about the perfect timing but yes I can say it is safe to hang out at night but for girls it may be not a good discission.
Other Applied Colleges
Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)
This was Bsc, I got the college but I preferred b. Tech from GL bajaj
