Remarks

My college is an NIT and the admission in nit is done by jee mains exam . It is a national exam conducted all over india and the college preference are filled and we get single college after five rounds of josaa counseling based on our preference choice filled.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my branch is electronics and communication Engineering department is on a very growing pace and have so much opportunities in upcoming years . The government has many initiatives in the field of semiconductor manufacturing company.the curriculum prepares for real life perspectives. The exams are moderate.

Class Size: 97Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I pay is 62500 . I am under OBC category. My income is below 1 lac per annum so my tution fees is 0. The hostel fee is 24000 per annum.the caution money is 9500. My roommate is general and income more than 5 lac so his tution fee is 93500.

Campus Life

The name of annual techfest is avishkar and cultural fest is culrav . This is conducted in month of November for a week almost 3 day for avishkar and then 3 culrav.The amount of books available in library is above 1 lakh covering all the genres . Sports faculties are above average.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:25.the faculty students relationship is good . The faculties are approachable.they help in doubt solving. The faculty I liked most was Ravi prakash sir .he taught very well .there are two exams in each semester which are theory based mid sem and end sem . And there is extra lab exam in lab based subject.

Night Life

There are gym , cafeteria like cafe 96 and dewesis.library has huge collection.The boy's hostel for first year is Swami Vivekananda boys hostel abbreviated as SVBH. The closing time of hostel entry is 11 pm . Famous hangout place is Sangam . The locality is safe to roam around at night.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two. Admission process is not that much tough it's just one day process.. first you have to upload your documents online and the you have to visit the college on the provided date for physcial verification along with the asked documents....Read More
