04 Nov, 2025 NIRF Ranking 2025 has been released on September 4, 2025. MNNIT Allahabad secured the following positions:

#151-200 out of 200 under “Overall Category”

#62 out of 300 colleges under “Engineering Category”

MNNIT Allahabad is ranked 49th in the country and it has been in that ballpark for five years. If we look in detail then the ranking has slightly decreased from 42th in 2019 to 49th in 2023. MNNIT Prayagraj consistently secures high positions in national and international rankings, affirming its status as one of India's premier technical institutions. The institute's commitment to excellence in education and research has earned it widespread recognition. While the rankings may vary from year to year, MNNIT Prayagraj has consistently been among the top engineering institutes in the country.

MNNIT: The hidden Reality

Likes

Coding Culture: the coding Culture of mnnit Allahabad is vary good.
Placement: the students get attracted to this college due to placement.
Home state: many students prefer up because its their home state.

Dislikes

Girls ratio: the ratio of boys to girls is very less.
Most of the Professors are too formal that even you can't share your personal problems to them.
Infrastructure needs to be improved. The hostel are also required to take care.

Internships Opportunities:

The intership opportunity starts in the 5th semester. The companies like d shaw, microsoft, visa, sap labs, cisco, paytm, bny mellon, etc comes. For electrical branch over 23 companies visit for the internship.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

Likes

The college provides you a good environment free from any type of ragging.
The coding culture and placement statistics is also very good.
Facilities and teachers are very supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark but it is developing gradually.
Curriculum should be more up to date and should be based on industry needs.
The wifi network in hostels and labs is not good.

Internships Opportunities:

Many top companies visited the college for placements like PhonePe- 80000 per month for SDE Microsoft- 1500000 per month for SDE Goldman Sachs- 200000 per month for SDE Apple- 90000 per month for SDE Gogle- 125000 per month for SDE BNY Mellon- 80000 per month for SDE Deutsche Bank- 75000 per month for Analyst Oracle- 125000 per month for Server Engineer Arista- 70000 per month for SDE VISA- 90000 per month for SDE Mostly company assigns web related tasks in internships. Overall Good to be at MNNIT

Likes

Campus is well large enough. It is equipped with several big grounds for football, hockey and cricket.
On the basis of placement, Nit Allahabad ranks 2nd among all other nits after warangal.
good intellect students from all over india choose to come to this college and from the foreign too. Placements for top three branches cs, ece, ee are well and good and there averages lie above 20 lpa

Dislikes

Placements for other circuital branches is not so good like for mechanical, civil, biotech there averages lie almost 12 lpa and below
Boys to girls ratio is 70:30. One can find a good partner here if he/she wants to be in relationship
half of the campus area is unutilised which should have been utilised.

Internships Opportunities:

companies like : Google, microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, General Electrics, Samsung all big companies visit this college every year for the role of Software Developer and Digital Ic design

A brief description over life in MNNIT

Likes

The Alumini Network is mighty with the rich past of MNNIT and its reputation.
The placements are fairly good, even in the times of recession the placement provided by the companies was amongst the highest in India
Highly active tech clubs and decent daily life facilities such as mess food and hostel accomodation.

Dislikes

The declining NIRF has led to lack of funds due to which the overall quality of the college is currently degrading when compared to its previous legacy
Research and Lab facilities are far from being excellent. The college needs to step up and take serious actions in producing quality research work

Internships Opportunities:

I have not yet been able to foster a intership opportunities but at the end of 2nd year we will be haing interviews offered by companies for internship. Companies that offer internship include Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw etc while talking of my domain which is core electronics companies like Texas Instruments, Micron technology, Qualcomm and Intel has offered internship.

My experience in MNNIT

Likes

One of the main motives behind joining MNNIT was the placements. Top notch companies visit the campus and offer handsome amounts.
The campus is vast and is filled with lush greenary.
The coding culture of the college is commendable.

Dislikes

Some rooms of the hostels get very cramped.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies such as De shaw offer 150000 as a stipend per month. A good number of comapnies visit the college during the internship season. Almost all of these companies offer a handsome amount as the stipend. A well beuilt resume is needed to appear for these opportuinities.

The placement ratio of our college is too good.
The auditorial of my college is too large and attractive.
the campus area and the location of our college.

Dislikes

there should be a proper arrangement for day scholars .
the bus service are not as expected. it can be better.
the hostels of our college is not as expected.

Placement Experience:

Our campus provide campus placement in a good amount and there average package of our college offered by is 200000. second year and third year students are also offered some internship opportunity by many compnies.

Likes

The fests held are very nice . Well managed.
There are a ton of technical events held in the college other than the main tech fest called avishkar
Placement are very good here as a lot of companies come.

Dislikes

The facilities provided aren't upto date.
The grounds for sports are not well maintained

Internships Opportunities:

A lot of companies come for internships during the 3rd year. I don't think I'll be able to share the details of stipends etc but I can say that the students that are selected are very well paid. You need to know DSA in deep and have 2-3 projects ready

Likes

I really like the management and their response to the problems is very quick.
There is 0 ragging in the college,do be afraid of ragging
The placements here is really good along with infrastructure.

Dislikes

The food here Is not tasty,but it's top quality.
Locality is far from the city area.So it is not affordable to go out every week.
The locality isn't suitable for the south Indians.There is no nonveg,so don't come with a hope of nonveg.

Internships Opportunities:

I don't know about a lot on interships.But you will be offered a lot of internships if you are skilled and maintaing a good CPI.Skills matter a lot.Try to learn any language preferable C or python -You will be bene9from learning these before hand.

Likes

First year hostel is good for other hostels like third year second year. And first year mess is okay.
In this college anti ragging is available so it is very good for all the new student.
In this college curriculum and club is good and establish college in centre of city prayagraj.

Dislikes

Some Professor is not supportable and not teaching good .
Mess food is not good as per the my choice.
There is probition period upto 1month when we recently admitted in college

Internships Opportunities:

As i mentioned internship opportunities are provided by 3rd year mainly in software domain. With some pre placement offer students get job conformation without sitting for placement. The college has median of 17 lpa.
