Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose electrical branch here in this college as it had good placements record and also we had good labs and faculities here at Nit Allahabad. Improvements: Faculties with higher qualification should be recurited. difficulty level of exams are well tough and appear every 1 and half month

Internships Opportunities

4

companies like : Google, microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, General Electrics, Samsung all big companies visit this college every year for the role of Software Developer and Digital Ic design

Placement Experience

4

Placements of this college is very good and ranks 2nd among all nits in india. electrical branch has placement percentage of 90%, computer science has placement percentage of 95% with 28 lpa and for ece 89%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees : 112000(for students having income below 1 lakh) Per semester fees is 56000 including mess fees as well(for below 1 lakh student) mess fees is 25000 per semester.(for all category) for students in general category : annual fees is 240000 Students studying here also get scholorships one of them is FFE which give at max 50000 annual support to the students and also there are many.

Campus Life

4

My experience at this college campus is well and good. All technical clubs of mnnit are very active and continuously work on the skill improvement of the students. Seniors are more concerned for you rather than your professor

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility for first year is very good and for 2nd and 3rd year the hostel condition is worse this is all with respect to the boys but in the final year students enjoy a good hostel facility. For girls hostel facility is good comparative to boys.

Admission

I chose this college over the other colleges because of its placements record. this college ranks 2nd on the basis of placement. students are recruited through Jee mains exam conducted every year. obc category 98.2 percentile electrical

Faculty

4

Relationship between faculty and students can be well established if the students would want to do so as professors are very polite if you look at them in that way. It all depends on the individual. Many say Electrical branch is tough but that is not the thing, once you become comfortable with this subject then it is easy going. some of the professors are really good and there is always some negitivity as well. Level of exams are well tough but if you go through previous year questions then you can perform well.

Night Life

5

During first year, intime for first year boys is 10pm and for first year girls is 8:30 pm. From 2nd year boys has no night intime whereas girls have very strict intime that is it is extended to 10:00 pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Placement Experience:

Taking about campous placement of my college so this is not so good like it is almost negligibe . If you want job then you have to fimd it by yourself and you have to apply by yourself to company. sometimes few prof. will help you to apply for some companies but most of the times you have to do it by yourself only. As in other colleges you will be elegible for internships from 2nd year is also the same thing you can start your internship when ever you get it. Almost no company visit here for placement but some time few companies come here for ME and Civil deparment students .the placement percentage is approx 35 to 40 percent. My plans after getting degre is to go for higher studies.
