NIT Agartala Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college provides good placements . From 3rd year or 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited our campus are phonpe, Amazon and lot more . The average package students are being offered is 26 lpa. Every year 85% of them get placements.

The average package in ECE is around 12 lakh and in IT companies it is around 30 lakh .The placement ratio is quite good it is about 70 percent placement in all over .In IT as well as in Core companies also .this is all because of the location of this college that many companies not come .

The placements here are pretty good if you are in a circuital branch but It is slightly on the average side if you got branches like Civil, Production, Mechanical etc. If the Campus placements are not good then students here are also doing coaching for other competitive exams like UPSC, CAT , GATE etc

Every Year There's more than 50 companies visiting the campus and more than 85% students are placed as software engineers , MTE , Analyst, core engineers etc. Companies visiting includes HPCL, BPCL, TOSHIBA , MATHWORLS , ORACLE, L&T, SIEMENS, TVS , MAHINDRA, TATA, ASHOK LEYLAND , etc. The highest package provided is 52lpa and average is 15lpa. I personally aim to get placed as a Instrumentation Engineer on getting my degree.

In or after 3 rd year students become eligible for campus placement. Being honest my admission was unplanned. as i was working in a postal department under the central Govt. after two months of doing that job ..i decided to pursue my career somewhere else and that time only choosing this engineering course could helped me by giving me reason to resign from that job .

The placements are decent but it also depends on the economic conditions of that year. Placement season begins from 7th semester. Many reputed MNCs like Google and Amazon do visit our campus but they hire very few people. Apart from them more reputed firms like Oracle, TCS, PhonePe, Infosys, Amdocs,etc also visit the campus but the number of people they hire does not remain the same.Our batch in particular had one of the worst placement seasons because of the recession. Generally the overall percantage of placed students used to be almost above 90 but it is struggling to reach even 70 this year. So there are oppurtunities but dont think that there is any guarantee you will be having a job offer at the end of your degree.

Third semister collage students are elligible for campus placement. TATA COMPANY,TVS COMPANY,GAILS LIMITTED,ONGC and other many big company are provided for placement for collage students.and package are highily. our collage highest package is 5200000. approximate 80 percent students are getting placement. After gatting degree my dream is complate in phd in IIT.

Placement rate is bit low for branches except CSE and ECE here .From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. My plans after my degree is to start a new business.i don't want to continue something in engineering field only.

Placements of this college is very good and improving year by year.There are 80% placement for CSE and ECE branch, for mechanical it is 70%, and approx 50-60% for all other branches.this year highest package was 52 lakhs in CSE and 30 lakhs in ECE.
