- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA

- The atmosphere is good here, lots of greenaries, Good facilities
- There are good maintained building including academic blocks and Hostel Blocks.
- The faculties are very well behaved, and are very well qualified
Dislikes
- Academic block(Main block) is too long from my hostel block (P Block), would I loved to in some other nearby blocks
- Fees is another important factor, college fee per year is too much.
- I like cricket very much , there is no cricket team here.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm very much interested in Pursuing Robotics for my master's degree, So I had to choose mechanical engineering to pursue it in the master's degree. The faculties are good, except for some. The student ratio must be less. maybe 10:1. All teachers are well qualified. Exams will mostly conducted every month.

- If we order any thing except Domino's we should goo to the main gate .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty members are nice it was been good teaching with a PhD experience of 10 years faculty members. They give the clear about the course structure and give a nice teaching of them. Their teaching life was excellent

- The infrastructure here is amazing and there a lot of ways in which people interact with all other seniors and fellow students students
- This interaction helps students to learn more and achieve various heights
- The faculties are highly qualified and teaches well and makes student understand the concept properly
Dislikes
- Sometimes maintenance is bad as there are lot of students
- Focussing on a particular student becomes tough for the staffs
- Also the college doesn't give fully flexible credit system for few of the courses like computer science and engineering with business systems
Placement Experience:
I'm from 1st year. So as far as now, the year I joined, the highest package in data science was 56 lakhs per annum. And that's enormous. Almost 95 percent of students are getting placed. Last year highest package was 1.2 crore per annum and the average package was 9 lakhs per annum. VIT is best for placements.

- The campus life was one thing I like the most. The campus is really huge and very beautiful scene scenery with greenerys all around
- The next amazing thing is the hostel life which gives you a very luxurious experience with high class rooms and food
- Last but not the least is the the teaching here the faculty sir really experienced and teeth very well which place a major fart in your life
Dislikes
- Nothing that I eat it the most was that the forest shares were not allowed outside the campus for first 3 must due to security
- I would say the hostel life inside is very nice and enjoyable but the problem is that there are streak tools in regulations for in time and out time which makes it a little bit
- Visiting your home often requires a lot of procedure and ride balls a very big process which is sometimes really irritating
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for the campus placements of the third year and there are variety of company such as Amazon Google Microsoft and all the big big mnc's visiting the campus the highest average package of the computer science engineering branches around 13 lakh and the highest package record in last year was more than one crore per annum and really 97 percentage of the students get placed every year.

- The cultural diversity of VIT as people are from different parts of the country
- This startup culture here which encourages students to pursue entrepreneurship
- Neat and clean hostels and good food availability
Dislikes
- Strict rules in hostels and outing constraints
- There are no cultural events for boys in the hostel
- There is no outing for freshers for 3 months
Placement Experience:
The placement here is very good the people from computer science department are the ones who get placed for good salaries. Big companies like Google Microsoft Adobe visit the campus every year. The average package is around 10 lacs per annum. Around 90% of the students get placed. And there is also a good startup culture in VIT which encourages entrepreneurship.

- Food in darling catters are good in quality
- Programming languages teachers are skilled
Dislikes
- Heavy strength of around 44000 students in campus
- Has many North Indian are present language problem
- Very strict in security and especially for girls

The companies that visit for placement to VIT are TCS, GOOGLE, AMAZON, FLIPKART
Many top global companies offer a wide range of offers to students who have finished their BTech or Mtech in vit college

- The process FFCS I like it very much because I can select a teacher who is very good at the subject
- Classroom of vit are very much good with a digital class rooms

- Food provide by them are not good and it is not satisfactory

I choose this course because I was very much interested in coding and I can settle down in the college placements as a computer science engineer
Ther is a process called FFCS where students can select their teachers
At the end of semester there is a process called review of teachers thier students can review their teachers
Exam will be held for every 23-25days

- library is almost 5 floors , we have a lot here to explore
- Fests , college clubs and chapters explore more and to increase our connections inside the college
Dislikes
- Every year hostel registration was diffiicult
- Campus was very big , we need to walk more
- FFCS where we need to register faculty and subject for every sem
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course was integrated mtech with a spealization in software engineering.
Here with this i will complete my mtech degree with in 5 years
Facultys here were very good and they encourge students to explore more in terms of research and enterpreneur ship.
Quality of faculty was good , All of them are PHD scholars,
Term exams are cat1,cat2 and fat
cat means mid term
fat means semester exams
In btech passing a exam is easy but getting good marks is diffiuclt.

- The hostel timings are very inconvenient
- The mess foods are sometime very bad and might nit taste good
- There are so many rules in the college and hostel
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are very good and the college is most famous for its placements. Almost all students in the college get placed. The highest package was above 2cr and many well-known companies came to the campus.

- There is a cool culture in this university,which is useful to develop ourselves and our skills.
- There are vast opportunities around the university that helps us to mingle with more friends.
- Here there are students from all over the country. And we can get exposure for various cultures.
Dislikes
- Regarding the men's hostels they are not permitted to roam outside of their respective hostel blocks after 9pm.
- And though selecting faculties for every semester is a good thing but there is a huge competition for the respective course faculties.
- As the university has vast number of students. There is also a huge competition in between students regarding exams and also regarding placements.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen electronics and communication engineering branch in Vellore campus. As I'm interested in electrical stuff I have chosen this course. Every semester we have an option to select our timetable and our faculties also.
