One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent. All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants. The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech
I choose this college because of its strong engineering program particularly in computer science and information technology which aligns with my career specifications in tech
I was drawn to the collaborative atmosphere and the variety of student organizations where I could g egg involved and develop outside the classroom’
The college’s reputation for producing successful graduates in my field was the main factor for my college selection
Dislikes
One challenge I faced was that some of the administrative processes, like course registration was bit complex
The course registration system could be more streamlined. Thiugh flexible, it is sometimes difficult to plan the schedule
The workload was intense some times and sometimes difficult to handle the pressure
Placement Experience:
The placements in our college are quite good. Over about 900 companies visit our college for campus drives. Students with zero backlogs are eligible to sit for campus placements where students belonging to 1st semester of 3rd year are eligible for industrial internships. Placement training will be started in 2nd semester of 3rd year and placements drives will be started in 4th year. My college assures 100% placements for all those registered for placements.
The course syllabus and exam schedules, project works and facilities regarding the same, punctuality
College fests included both cultural fest and tech fests
environment of the college and discipline
Dislikes
there's nothing such thing which i dislike about the college
coming to deadlines its a little hectic for students
content they expect to write for the exams is way too much
Course Curriculum Overview:
The teaching methods are great i can say and the curriculum wise they have detailed syllabus which includes 8 models, and in each subject the 8th module goes to the guest lectures regarding the real life applications
Wonderful research opportunities for all students interested.
Thriving campus life and college culture when it comes to clubs and chapters.
Streamlined and systematic approach to academics.
Dislikes
Slight language barrier for Non-Tamil-Speaking students.
College outing procedure is very safe but arguably can be little strict for girls.
FFCS is difficult due to net issues, very tough to crack.
Placement Experience:

Dislikes
Some faculties are new and lack industry knowledge
Very strict time table, although it is being changed. This course was a 3 year course which is being converted into a 4 year course now.
Campus restrictions such as hostel in timings, red tag security guards everywhere
Placement Experience:
In the last semester students become eligible for placements. The companies that visited this year were Saffronics and Tata Elxsi. I am unaware of the offers made. The packages offered were around 4 to 8 lakh rupees. Around 20% students got places, many of them went into freelancing or higher studies. I had an offer for 4lpa but refused it, since I wanted to focus more on my portfolio and skills.
VIT Bhopal has a good placement record, with top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS visiting the campus. In VIT Bhopal, academics are prioritized and faculty is nice. VIT Bhopal has huge and lush green campus.
Hostels are very good which provides gym, AC/NAC rooms, single or sharing room based on one's own preference, sports area, clean washrooms, room cleaning services, laundry services, courier services and supermarket.
Academic block and hostels of VIT Bhopal is equipped with Wi-Fi enabled and each student can connect any two devices at a time. Hostel consist of Anti-Ragging policy where no seniors or batchmates are allowed to do ragging of anyone.
Dislikes
Even after having such a huge campus, VIT needs to be improved by expanding the library and adding air conditioning to labs and library.
Though supermarket is available all the time but products are very expensive here that is almost double the prices of the product.
In VIT Bhopal hostel, you dont get to choose your roommate as they themselves allot it to you. sometimes its disturbing when roommates don't sleep early and make noises whole night.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen BTECH IN CYBER SECURITY AND DIGITAL FORENSICS as I always fascinated about it. curriculum prepares me for real world applications by doing activities like doing case studies, debates, researches etc. though I like my course but it needs to be improved in sense like there is no reason of learning calculus and electric circuit system in forensic science course so it sould be limited. mid semester are conducted in november and term end in july and being an engineering college, lever of difficulty is very high.
The boys to girl ratio is okayish, there are more boys than girls but the ratio doesn't seem that much
You will gain exposure to nearly all the states in India
The hostel food is decent, compared to other college hostels
Dislikes
It is located at a remote location, so even if you want to hang out. There isn't much spots
Not all teachers are good, some are very bad
You will need cgpa to even choose the hostel of your liking, You cant get AC Rooms if your cgpa is low
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are good as I have heard from the seniors. There were more than 12000 offers, the highest package was around 75lakhs. It all comes down to skills, if you have skills you will definitely land a higher package offer. There are three categories dream, super dream and normal offers.
Course curriculum is one of the best designed
The college will conduct gravitas and rivera events in the middle of the semester for the students to get into other works than studying and etc
The curriculum is very detailed
Everyday there are new new events happening in the campus so the campus life is pretty fun
Almost everything you need is inside the campus
The labs classroom and sports amenities are top notch
Dislikes
Vit should decrease their student intake it's always too crowded
The hostel in time is only 8:30 like why we are in college now
There is segregation of boys and girls here
Placement Experience:
After the completion of 3rd year you are eligible for campus placements in vit vellore and TCS being a mass recruiter every year the college has almost 100% placements and many opt for higher education and research so for that also vit offers a variety of options
world class infrastructure with modern class rooms and extensive library
Diverse and active student community across India
Industry oriented curriculum with emphasis on hands on learning
Dislikes
High fees especially for higher categories and management quota people
Strict Discipline and rules with stringent rules and rigorous punishments
Categorized admission system with a very crowded campus
Course Curriculum Overview:
the course curriculum at vellore institute of technology is generally regarded as relevant industry loved and moderately copmprehensive. Industry oriented courses , flexible credit system, multidisciplinary apporach.
Things I like most about my college is that many events are being conducted here by different clubs which helps freshers or newbies get the required exposure and there are a lot of places to spend time with your friends, the teachers are helpful
Friends can be easily made here as you will meet a lot students here form diffrent parts of India . Diversity is quite good here
Even for north Indians it's not at all difficult to make friends and communicate as many children come from north side here even the staff at the hostel are comfortable in both hindi and english people are quite cooperative. Time passes here so quily
Dislikes
The inn timmings for hostel are quite early as you have to enter the hostel before 9 if you are a boy and if a girl then it's 8 so thats a problem as you can't roam anywhere you want after 9
Some faculties are too inclined towards south indian students . If there will be a fight between northie and south guy they will definitely try and save the south guy . But this kind of thinking is not in every teacher but yes it exit here
The worst thing is that you can't go outside campus for 1 semester and after sometime it will feel like a jail which you want to escape and freshers always wait for diwali as it first time they escape jail in 3 months
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are quite good if you compare with other pvt colleges . Student get eligible for campus placements from 6 th semester and a lot of companies vist every year with good amount of offers including dream super dream offers. The highest package so far was 1.02 cr and average is 20 lakhs per annum. As there is recessions going in the market so percentage of students being placed as dipping a bit . Like it's 89% in 2024 last year it was 91%. So yes it depends upon the market conditions at the time.the main goal after getting the degree would be to get a good job or go for higher studies then like mtech or MBA still figuring it out but first aim will be to take the placement
