Course Curriculum Overview
The method of curriculum here is applications based and are mostly concentrated in methods and ways to work in a good company and how to get well placed in good company with good salary package The timings of exams are of two batches with is 9 am and 2 pm , in which students are given slots based on the faculties and subje9tehy have chosen Biotechnology is amazing in vit as there are rare and costly instruments like sem microscopes available and easily accessible to the students who study here.
Placement Experience
Students are allowed to get placed from 5 th year and can do internships in 4 th year itself . Industrial visit o various companies are taken by the respective subject faculties. About 85 percent of the students studying here get placed in good companies and I am planning to join in research field or persue my career as a lecturer in any college
Fees and Financial Aid
For integrated msc biotechnology course in vit the yearly fee is 75000 which contains 2 semesters in a year . The hostel fees can range from 75000 to 1 lack per annum. Bca course are with 75000 With the same fee where as mtech courses fee starts from 2 lakh. Instead of which one could have chosen msc over the high fee courses
Campus Life
The club environment in vit is amazing as there are a number of clubs like environmental ,art, drama, tamil, literature,and so on countless in number and the extracurricular activities are welcomed here the technological provisions are easy to access with permission of faculty .
Admission
I applied in colleges like CMC Vellore and women's college Chennai. I got selected in medical sociology and emergency care in CMC college by giving entrance exam meant for CMC college respectively.but wanna take my career towards research and lecturing and thus selected to study in vit
Faculty
The staffs are more in number and they are completely approachable and friendly, the staffs working in vit mostly are highly qualified and worked in several famous companies all over the world. Except for some faculties who are not good in communicating in proper English 97 percent of them are amazing. The exams here are mostly applications based and they give a chance to students who have failed in exam with a fee of 6000 rupees per subject in which the stu6need to attend the classes on Sunday and give their exams on the given date
