- Candidates should apply only through Online mode on the Web Portal of Anna University. Direct or offline applications will be rejected.
- 2 seats are reserved for B.Arch Degree programs in the University Department of Anna University, Chennai-25.
- Candidates who have passed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject can also apply
Anna University B.Arch Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having 45% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply.
- SC/ ST candidates need 40% marks to apply for the same.
- Diploma Candidates who have passed 10+3 years Diploma (any stream) Examination recognized by Central/ State Governments with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidates who have passed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Anna University B.Arch Admission Criteria
Anna University B.Arch admission is done based on NATA score. The final selection for B.Arch in Anna University is done on the merit list based on the score of the NATA examination conducted by the Council of Architecture.
- The candidates should upload a scanned copy of the mark sheet.
- Those who have not appeared and passed in NATA 2024 are not eligible for B.Arch. Degree course.
How to Apply?
- Candidates have to apply through the online application portal.
- Register yourself with a valid email address and active mobile number as all the communications to the candidates will be sent to the same.
- Enter all the asked details carefully such as - Percentage of Marks, Year of Passing, Board/ Institute Scanned image of their photograph with prescribed file size/ resolution etc.
- An online application without convenient documents and photographs will be rejected.
- Make the payment through online mode only. The application fee for only B.Arch is INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/ ST/ PH and INR 100 for the special reservation category).
- After entering all the details click the save/ submit button. The candidate doesn’t need to send the printout of the application or any other documents.

Ques. What are the cutoff marks for the Anna University B.Arch program?
Ans. Cutoff marks for B.Arch in Anna University cannot be predicted. It varies every year and mainly depends on the number of colleges and seats available. Once the counselling is over Anna University will release the cut off marks.
Ques. Is the Anna University B.Arch program better than the RVCA B.Arch course?
Ans. B.Arch in Anna University is any day better than RVCA. Being a government institute it has very good management and faculty. Also, the course fee is very reasonable.
Ques. Is there any counselling fee that needs to be paid for Anna University B.Arch admission?
Ans. Before a candidate exercising his/ her choice, an initial amount of INR 5000 has to be paid towards the Counseling fee through Online mode. Once allotted a seat, INR 5000 already paid at the time of Counseling will be adjusted towards the tuition fee.
Ques. What if I do not take admission after receiving the offer letter and want a refund for the Anna University B.Arch counselling fee?
Ans. If a candidate does not join after allotment and seeks a refund, only 80% of the initial deposit amount paid at the time of counselling will be refunded, if the original allotment order with acknowledgement for the receipt of payment is surrendered on or before December 31.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Well, the thing i really loved about architecture was the practical aspect. Gave me more space to look things different. The journey to the real world seem well prepared cause we learn from the experts who teach us the beginning to professional difficulties. The process was tough, but you did look back and wonder you did do more. I did say depending on college for your knowledge wouldnt be entirely a good thing. As this profession cost you a practical knowledge , learn about things from other sources like youtube or articles. Lack of exposure in terms of fast phase world can be a huge challenge

Our course curriculum very good and also our faculty teachings methods and then difficulty was most of unit tests conduct next day after the every exam. My suggestion area for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching method was they give only less time for project submission

Love for Architecture is the main reason I chose this course They prepare us very well for real world experience but they have no placements. They could improve real world applications of software in the course structure Exams are easy but Jury's are different.

- Hostel management is one of the worst thing
- Hostel management is so worst making the students and parents beliving by giving good food just for a week

I've already done diploma in Architecture at salem so it became a main passion of my life. I came across many colleges to get good education and worth for the fee and this college is one of them. The exams are difficult some timws.

- PSG Institute of Architecture and Planning (PSGIAP) - Coimbatore is one of the most preferred institute among architectural aspirant in Tamil Nadu. At present, it offers undergraduate level program in Architecture.
- Total approved intake for every year is 40 and last year all 40 seats where enrolled out of which 30 where female. To get into PSGIAP candidates must approach TNEA Counselling for B.Arch with qualification on NATA national level entrance exam.
Dislikes
- Requires high cutoff in 12th board exam and entrance exam .
- not just the college, the course itself does not offer any campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Architecture course curriculum depends enterialy on students understanding and based on design problem for every academic year. PSGIAP follows Anna University Regulation syllabus which influence the choice of elective course for students from third year. Site visit,casestudy and live interaction teaching creats a frequency between students. The area of improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods has increased every year which reflectes in students preformances and knowledge. Regular interaction secission and examination helps students to understand design perspective on their difficulty level

Dislikes
- Infrastructure is slightly worst and needs improvement atleast in Architecture department

The college starts at 9:30 till 4:15. This time is more effective and helps to gain knowledge. The college allows the students to go to live casestudies and guide them to gain practical knowledge with expertise faculties

- Most of the professors have outdated mindsets about the field
- Difficult to address issues or raise complaints with the Management. Poor time management and communication by the management

The curriculum is extensive and covers all bases. Some of the course material could be updated to match the current trends in the field. The basics are very well covered. Exploring manual methods is encouraged, to strengthen your design thinling skills, but it wpuld be great if newer techniques involving softwares fould also be taught as they make the students readily employable.
