For Barch this college is recommendable. The teaching and facilities is great. Faculties especially for this course is friendly.
The faculty members is supportive and interactive.

Dislikes

Infrastructure can develop more. Many equipments can be installed
There is no much extra-curriculum activity.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great. Faculty members approach a practical method of teaching helping students to understand more. Many workshops and activities are also done. More industrial visits can be done.

Class Size: 14Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees is 1 lakh per annum for Barch. There are scholarships abs government aids available. My course does not include any lab fees. And all the other fees are included in the year-wise fees.

Campus Life

Though there are certain club activities I personally think it's not active and there should be more clubs which are accessible. There aren't many social groups. And there are limited sports and extra curriculum activity.

Admission

I chose this college for it's affordability of the course without the compromise in it's curriculum. The teaching, facility and workshops are all better and affordable. Qualified and experienced faculty members handle the course.

Faculty

Faculty members of my course is really approachable and friendly. They are qualified. There are unit exams, models exams and finally the sem exam. Most students secure the required qualifying marks . Many workshops are also held.

Night Life

There are gym , common are and cafeteria available. The hostel is affordable and the campus timing is a reasonable timing. The cafeteria is a common hangout place. It is safe to be present in the college for a certain time.

Beyond your limits

Placement Experience:

Students can become eligible in their 8th semester which is also called PPO (Pre Placement Offer) where the number of students getting placed are very low or the students can get their placements in their 10th semester. L&T, Sanjaypuri architects, Zaha Hdid architects are the few companies that I know. In general there are 10-20 offers made. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average is 5.5LPA as per the latest data. 78-85 percent students get placed and the other 15 percent opt for further studies. Currently I'm not sure with my plan but I may do master degree.

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.
