The college amidst a mountain

1. New place. 2. Good ambiance. Being present in the Nilgiris district, the college is amidst the ta plantation providing great views and peace of mind. 3. Faculties from various regions giving different exposures.

The course curriculum is for 5 years. According to the latest regulations, there is a 6 month internship period. In my view the curriculum is well prepared to prepare a student for becoming a great Architect. Further talking about the exam structure, there are frequent exams to validate the knowledge of a student and to assess this skills.

In he case of Architecture, there is no such thing as placements. One has to look for jobs on their own. But, there is an internship during the course period. Internship exposes to the real world of Architecture. The stipend shall differ from the location of work.

As a part of the NASA, McGan's Ooty school of Architecture takes part in both NASA and ZoNASA annually. All most all he students gets the opportunity to be a part of it. Apart from this there is cultural and sports activities which also happens annually once.

The fees structure shall be posed in between feasible and expensive. Since the college is a residential college, the student must be paying both the tuition and the hostel fees. The hostel fees is inclusive of the food and accommodation costs.

There's no specific scholarship/loan faculty which is offered by McGan's Ooty school of Architecture. But if any of the student who wants to study in McGan's Ooty school of Architecture can avail scholarship through sports quota or similar quotas.

Talking about the extra-curricular activities, labs, sports and the other activities in McGan's Ooty school of Architecture, there is sports activities which will happen during every even semester. Various activities including cricket, football, basketball, throwball, athletic activities shall be a part.

The hostel is in the same premises as the college. So it is easier for the student to go to the college. Having bunker beds in all the rooms, and geaser facility which is also in an attached bathroom.(Note:this is only about the girl's hostel) over Al rating: 5.5/10

The alumni network in McGan's Ooty school of Architecture is not kept very active. But it must be noted that McGan's Ooty school of Architecture is currently taking efforts to formulate an effective club for building an alumni network.

Anyone entering an Architectural course in India must write the NATA exam. So, in order to enter McGan's Ooty school of Architecture, one must apply for the counseling in Anna University (since McGan's Ooty school of Architecture is under Anna University) Following up on it, Anna University will have a two-day counseling session. The counseling generally offers the college list according to our cumulative score of the 12th mark and the NATA Mark. If the candidate is eligible then they will McGan's college in their list. They can further select the college.

The faculties in the college are well trained Architects and take their at most effort to help the students. The faculties take extra efforts in order to help the students work better. The only shortcoming is that, the faculties in the college keep constantly changing. It takes time for a student to adapt to a new faculty.
