Course Curriculum Overview

I love Architecture.. so I choose to be a Architect.. faculty ratio is 1:10 .. Our faculties are qualified architects and have more then 10 years of experience. 6 months one semester exam will be conducted

Class Size: 1200Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We can choose our own internship companies.. but it should be proper government approved architecture ferm. All urban project and landscape project interior design and elevation are down by our students

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus from the 9th semester.. This course is totally 5 years. And the last year's students are eligible for the campus. Minimum package of 30k per month and max package is goes to 60k for freshers.

Fees and Financial Aid

For management students, 16000 rupees per a year and for counseling students 97000 rupees per a year. For SC students they give scholarship up to 40000 per year.. and tr are lot of campus opportunities in our college

Campus Life

Annual fest ( Mc fest) is conducted every year and it will be a grand tech fest in tamilnadu architecture college.. All kinds of architecture related books are in our library.. and we have NSS and NCC in our college..

Hostel Facilities

Three in a room with attached toilet ... Weekly twise chicken and fish .. two times egg.. Good quality of food is giving my the management.. Hostel fees per year is 12000 including food and stay. They give idly , dosa, pongal, Kerala rice tamilnadu rice , fride rice , noodles, meals , kichadi, samiya, and etc..

Admission

We need to write NATA entrance to join in this course anywhere. Only maths group students can apply for this course.. u can apply for entrance exam through NATA website or can call a college to help u for registration.

Beyond your limits

Placement Experience:

Students can become eligible in their 8th semester which is also called PPO (Pre Placement Offer) where the number of students getting placed are very low or the students can get their placements in their 10th semester. L&T, Sanjaypuri architects, Zaha Hdid architects are the few companies that I know. In general there are 10-20 offers made. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average is 5.5LPA as per the latest data. 78-85 percent students get placed and the other 15 percent opt for further studies. Currently I'm not sure with my plan but I may do master degree.

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.

The NATA exam or JEE mains should be cleared with minimum of 50% in the exams. Also in 12th marksheet, 50% of minimum should be acquired in physics, chemistry and math. Online application are available, but the best is to go to the college and apply or to apply through government quato. The admission process for me was quite simple, where after applying most of the job was taken care by the admin people.
