Remarks
The college is affiliated to Anna University and is located in the valley of Perar. The level of teaching and the course structure is good. Campus life is awesome. Placements are bad though.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was very much apt according to the national standards. The syllabus was very dynamic and had a blend of both practical and theory classes. We would spend more time in the studio than the classrooms. The course structure enabled me to be capable of learning the art of architecture.
Placement Experience
Our college doesn’t provide any sort of placement assistance. The internship is a part of the curriculum, but for that too we have to look on our own.
College Events
There are many clubs and associations which organise the numerous events and cultural activities in the college campus. Arts club, architecture club, nature club, movie club etc on our campus. Onam, Pongal, Independence day, Teachers day etc are celebrated by us. College life is good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for one year was 167,000 INR. Belonging from a middle class family, it was a little too much for me. So I took a student loan.
Campus Life
The campus life is very relaxed and pretty laid back. There are a lot of learning opportunities. The social life is also pretty diverse since there are a lot of students from different cultural and social backgrounds. The location of the college is the best thing, which makes the college life an extended vacation.
Hostel Facilities
There are two hostels in the college. Hostel fee is also nominal at 12K/Annum. The hostel food is good and cheap. The hygiene is also good. The location of the hostel is in the clouds but you have to do trekking on a daily basis to reach the hostel.
Admission
The admission is on the basis of your NATA score. I scored pretty great in the NATA exam and hence my name was in the first merit list.
Faculty
The faculty was qualified as well as had a lot of teaching experience. I had very assuring experience in terms of teaching quality. I would like to offer my due respect for the efforts which the faculty members put in to teach us the practical aspects of the concepts we learned.
