Course Curriculum Overview

The overall curriculum is based and set by the Anna University Chennai, the curriculum of Anna University covers from the past technology to the present innovation and also prepares for real world applications

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees include admission fee , registration fee, lab fee, educational tour, material,stionanery .the total year wise fees will come around 1.15 lakhs, the few structure varries based on management or counselling

Campus Life

The five years of the architecture journey at Meenakshi college of engineering has been truly an amazing experience, the campus, faculties, fellow students added great value to the journey, all the club activities, case study visits, celebrations were very memorable

Admission

Meenakshi college of engineering is situated in the centre of the city and are accessible by all means of public transportation, the commute is very easy and saves so much time which gives more time for preparation

Faculty

Most of The faculties were very approachable, they guided us in every possible way, they took initiatives in conducting mockup reviews with external mentors, they don't hesitate to clear out our doubts, helped us through our design blocks

Night Life

The night life at the campus is very safe, the campus is equipped with enough facilities to make it easier for night stays, which is very helpful for group projects, which helps us to complete tasks before deadline. It's very calm and peaceful

Placement Experience:

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.
