Infrastructure is one of the best in the National Law Universities.
Placements are decent and chances to build connections are great.
Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, and the authorities are helpful too
Dislikes
Fee is on higher side for state aided University
Alumni base is strong but there is no association for same.
Some faculties are not that much good with the students
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are decent and as a second tier National Law University all the major law firms provides placement for the students, besides this NLUs provide good connection opportunities to start your own legal practice too, also the university has its own centre for competitive exams.
The course is of five years. The college only offers one course BALLB (Hons.). I choose the course to give government exams like the judiciary. The college exams are easy to pass and the faculty is average
We don't have a very good alumnus base, to be honest as most of the students choose PPOs or opt for higher studies abroad. Also, many students get placed in tier 2 law firms on an average package of 6-8 Lakhs. Others prefer to go for Judiciary
We get admission on the basis of the ranks secured in CLAT. I was allotted NLU-Punjab on the basis of scores and rank and also according to our preferential list.
In all the college is the best in its stream there might be some problems but the student union of the collegs is very strong to come over these problems. The college life here in RGNUL is very good and provides for the upliftment of the student in their attitude in their academics as well as their in their life.
