RGNUL Punjab Placements 2023: 31 Students Placed & 16 Companies Visited
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab maintains a good placement record every year. During the placement drive, a handsome CTC package is offered to the students every year. RGNUL Punjab placements 2023 have been concluded. A total of 16 recruiters made offers to graduating students, among them 8 recruiters made PPOs, and 8 of them hired through campus recruitment. 31 students were placed and among them 11 received PPOs through their internships.
Some of the recruiters included Trilegal, Ernst & Young LLP, S&A Law Officers, Link Legal, etc, who made offers to the RGNUL Punjab students.

- The case provides with all the basic things you need it also contains shops within the campus such as fruit shop which helps the student also.
- The campus provides with great sports facilities especially for football, cricket, volleyball.
Dislikes
- The campus is located on the outskirts of the city which makes it difficult for one to travel
- The delivery guys are not allowed in the campus so one has to go to the main gate to receive the order
Placement Experience:
The placements on the campus are not really good but they are in a okay stage where you find some companies coming to the campus for the placement, but the students here prefer to go for judicary more than placements so that makes it even for the students. Students from 5 year are approved for the placements .

Dislikes
- The university is in a tier 3 city. Dont expect fancy shopping and food avenues
- Mess management is poor with frequent food hygiene issues
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placement from 8th semester onwards All the major law firms like AZB, Surana and Surana visited the campus for placement The highest package secured in 2024 is around 16 Lakh CTC and average package aroung 10 Lakh. Around 10 percent students get placed out of each outgoing batch I plan for competitive examinations

- infra is one of the best amongst all nlus.
- teachers (most) are chill as you enter 4th year.
Dislikes
- campus located in a rural area basically on outskirts (10kms away from main city) of patiala (a 2nd/3rd tier city of punjab). price hike at everything, even 1/2 kg bananas cost Rs. 40 if you buy from campus.
- no student body, administration has been way too strict over last 2 years.
Placement Experience:
Most students opt for PPO since placement cell here is not so good. Also companies also select 5-10 toppers only for interview. At the end, 20-30 students are employed (both ppo and on campus placements) post 5 year course out 180-220 students. Most students prepare for judiciary as result.

- The ambience and the infrastructure of the campus is very pleasant.
- Teachers are well dedicated towards betterment of students and are very helpful also.
Dislikes
- Very far from the market so, separated from the basic facilities.
- Only conveyance to travel city is auto which charges exorbitantly high.
Placement Experience:
The placement cell of the college works day & night and it offers campus placements. Various tier 1 and tier 2 firms come to the campus for hiring and offer placements. Placements are offered once you enter in the final year and sit for the same.

- RGNUL Campus has a great infrastructure with air conditioned Hostels
- The environment at RGNUL is very student friendly. You will have facilities like Gym, yoga, Dance and music classes too.
Dislikes
- Placement services need to be more effective. Quite few student get on campus placement.
- The campus is very far from the city. Commuting from college to city becomes expensive.
Placement Experience:
There is an active placement cell at college which provides us with internship and other job opportunities. The placement at the campus is quite average. Since our alumuni base is not much strong, not many Tier 1 companies come here. Most of the students turn towards off campus placements than on campus due to low number of students get placed at a good law firm.

We don't have a very good alumnus base, to be honest as most of the students choose PPOs or opt for higher studies abroad. Also, many students get placed in tier 2 law firms on an average package of 6-8 Lakhs. Others prefer to go for Judiciary

In the recent times the field of placements has gotten better but overall the administration doesn't seems to be concerned about placement that much. Some of the legal and corporate firms do visit the college for placing students but i cannot recall any well named companies. There may have been well known companies visiting the campus too but not that i know of. Only around 5-10% students are placed directly from the campus the figures are not accurate but it could be even lower.

- Faculty is nice and helpful also you can go to them any time for help
- Infrastructure is also extremely impressive
Dislikes
- Resources like ebooks are not vehemently available
- Administration is not very active and students hae to take initiative

The placements are offered to candidates interested. Various firms like khaitan and lks and cam hire from our campus. The college also provides facilities if some one wants to prepare for upsc or judiciary

- Infrastructure is one of the best in the National Law Universities.
- Placements are decent and chances to build connections are great.
Dislikes
- Fee is on higher side for state aided University
- Alumni base is strong but there is no association for same.

Campus placements are decent and as a second tier National Law University all the major law firms provides placement for the students, besides this NLUs provide good connection opportunities to start your own legal practice too, also the university has its own centre for competitive exams.
