Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of five years. The college only offers one course BALLB (Hons.). I choose the course to give government exams like the judiciary. The college exams are easy to pass and the faculty is average

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to students is around 10 lakh for 5 years which is high. The return on investment is very low. The placements are not good. One has to look for internships and jobs only. The college doesn't help at all.

Campus Life

Life on the campus is boring. There are not much number of fests. The sports. Fest occurs once in two years. There are other small functions which are little fun to be part of. College life is not good.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good. The food of the hostel is good. The menu of the mess is set by students. Each variety of food is served. The food is good quality. The meals are served 4 times. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

The admission criteria are pretty much simple. One has to give CLAT examination. Each year around 60000 students sit for the exam. If one wants to make it to this college then the rank should be around 1000.

RGNUL is best in terms of facilities!

Placement Experience:

Currently no corporate houses have visited and law firms and top lawyers from across the country depending upon the kind of intenrships we have pursued placements are made. The placements cell now has double the task to ensure bring more and more companies and corporate houses on board.

RGNUL is very astute!

Placement Experience:

This is a little vulnerable part of our university as placements aren't it's biggest strenth. A batch size of 300 and only half of ir finds placements from RGNUL. Yes around 40 odd firms have inked deals with RGNUL but still getting the desired results in favour of placements will take some time.

RGNUL is regardless the best NLU!

Placement Experience:

Tatva Legal, Anz and many other law firms are probably the ones which takes around 100 students every year. Ever since corporate have joined hands 120 our of 200 students who pass every year do gets placements. Students have to apply for placements through college portal and after monitoring and checking if we are worthy we are allowed for the interviews.

Placement Experience:

In our University, students are eligible for campus placements in 5th year of their degree for BA.LLB.(Hons.) and in LLM. they are eligible for placements in the 1st semester itself. Many Law firms visit our university like Khaitan & Co., Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal, etc. One students of our university got a 2.5 cr. placement offer from Linklaters Llp. a firm based in U.K. My plans after getting the degree are to start litigation or give a try in UPSC.

LPU Through My Eyes – Campus, Classes, and Beyond

Placement Experience:

According to my information, from 4 th year that is 7 th semester we are eligible for campus placement but for that we have to enroll in placement preparation in which they prepare the students for the placement drive . My plans is not for campus placement after my course I will go into litigation and practice for my judiciary exams and after that my backup is for llm.

RGNUL has best facilities!

Placement Experience:

Companies have still not looked at RGNUL and therefore high court lawyers and litigation firms are the ones who provides placements to RGNUL students. In recent past students have been constantly getting placed with 10 LPA package and placements percentage too has rose above 50 now.

RGNUL is best law college in Punjab!

Placement Experience:

No corporate law here so far but top lawyers and top firms like the Luthra, Khaitan, Maheshwari and Co, all have accepted our aplications. So, all.of them come to our college for placements now and placement cell has worked very hard to bring them all on board.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course law is definitely the second most demanded course in India and 4th most globally. Hence, I am happy that we have a course which is not just popular but one that makes us eligible and empower as the doors to become a judge opens from here.

Placement Experience:

Here placement cell is quite active and placements are quite good, with more than 90%. Also our placements partners are ICICI, EY, IFFCO, bajaj, and many more. Highest package is of 16 lakhs and average package is of 6-7 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

many students from our college have cleared all sorts of central defence services, exams and army exams. In addition to that where the students have become great litigation, lawyers and judges. Placements are also given by the College who want to work as a corporate lawyer. Every year, various renowned companies come to the college for Hiring students. My plan is to prepare for civil exams and get a job as a government official

It is a no bran question as CLAT is the only way to qualify for NLUs. I took a year off to prepare for CLAT and NLUs is what I was targetting and I consider myself lucky to be studying in NLUs. RGNUL is very astute!

Admission in our college or NLUs in India are based on CLAT scores. Since our college is 9th ranked so students between 1000-1500 ranks in general category are the ones who opt for our college. RGNUL is regardless the best NLU!

Admission in any NLU are a very big thing. Especially the general category students have to be in top 1000 to be in top 10 NLUs. I ranked 880 and GNLU which was my dream college just became a dream but then among the others, I felt RGNUL had better facilities and placements even if ranking is 9th....Read More

RGNUL is best law college in Punjab!

Admission are through CLAT like all the NLUs this is the only way. There's no backdoor entry in our college. So it doens't matter how influential you are but the only way you can get admission in any NLUs is through CLAT. Cut-off ranks for RGNUL is upto 1800 for general category....Read More
