RGNUL is best in terms of facilities!

Legal studies have no boundaries and especially when you are in NLU means rest is no there even at the end of the day. So, it's still early doors for me but I know this is how I will have to go about things and I am more than ready for the same. Passing percentage even after such toughness is 95% and that shows the academic power of RGNUL.

Currently no corporate houses have visited and law firms and top lawyers from across the country depending upon the kind of intenrships we have pursued placements are made. The placements cell now has double the task to ensure bring more and more companies and corporate houses on board.

RGNUL is an NLU which is best in various departments in comparison to other NLUs and still fees lower than most or them. Just around 3 lakhs a year for both course and hostels and it is totally fine because the kind of studies and quality of campus life that it offers, it is bare minimum of what they have asked for.

Campus is huge but the functioning area is around 40-50 acres. Sports facilities or the open lawns covers 60-70% of campus area and it is rest with a few buildings and students area. Canteens are two and one mess seperate. Just like NLUs, our university has all those events and two of the biggest events of RGNUL are Zelus and Roshni.

RGNUL has the biggest strength among all the NLUs and therefore there are 6 boys and 5 girls block of hostels and mess too now are seperate. Veg and Non veg food both are available but there two completely veg mess as well. So students can chose one while registering.

It is a no bran question as CLAT is the only way to qualify for NLUs. I took a year off to prepare for CLAT and NLUs is what I was targetting and I consider myself lucky to be studying in NLUs. Ranks decide which NLU you can get and till the first semester as per ranks upgrades can happen depending upon the availability of the seats.

NLUs and mind you every NLU has the best law faculties so what not draw comparison but will say that in terms of faculties RGNUL has the best people. Taking us to courts and even making us learn by giving past examples and the ammendments done is how they teach us. Since learning law in a better way is through opinion and interactions, so they make all our classes looks like and interactive sessions.

Gurudwara Dukh Nivaran Sahib is where all students go atleast once in a week. Baradari Gardens and Qila Mubarak are the other two places and for food, it's Punjab after all and Ahuja Kulcha Centre is one hell of a place to try dishes like Chur Chur Naam and Amritsari Kulcha.
