Army Institute of Law Mohali Popularly known as AIL Mohali established in 1999 by Indian Army under the Army Welfare Education Society, is affiliated to the Punjabi University, Patiala and approved by the Bar Council of India. In 2024, NIRF ranked 30 in the Law category while in 2025, IndiaToday ranked 15 in the same category.

Army Institute of Law Mohali offers two law courses, a five year BALLB at the undergraduate level and a one year LLM at the postgraduate level. Admission to these courses are done based on the valid score in AIL LET (Law entrance test) conducted by the institute itself. Army Institute of Law offers BA LLB as its flagship course. The faculty is highly learnt an active, They helped students in any sort of difficulties we have

the course is well known BALLB, which is integrated 5 year law program. The faculty is great, we have well learnt professors. our college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala which sets an adequate exam each semester

What are the internship opportunities in the campus?

from the first year sales college provide internships and also gives continuation for any sources of absentee Students have If they have any internship going on. Internship start from the second year itself, where students can go to the High Court senior advocate and learn from them. Also, different source of corporate internships under law firms is provided. Students also can work with an NGO

What are the placement opportunities in the college?

many students from our college have cleared all sorts of central defence services, exams and army exams. In addition to that where the students have become great litigation, lawyers and judges. Placements are also given by the College who want to work as a corporate lawyer. Every year, various renowned companies come to the college for Hiring students. My plan is to prepare for civil exams and get a job as a government official

Yearly fees of the course and scholarship

the college fees is different for punjab residents and for army wards. as a punjab category student my fees is 3.33 lacs for the entire year. Army students have 50,000 less fees than normal. Half of the fees is for the teaching and the academic year and half of it is the hostel fees which includes the dinning and laundry price too

Various events and infrastructure of the campus

The college has many fair organised law schools such as national Law universities Organise various sports and cultural fairs and our college takes us to all of them. the college in time Is 10:00 PM and there is a strict rule of conduct that nobody has to be drunk when they enter the college premises. Each classroom has two ACs. There are many clubs provided in the college like research Centre, legal aid, social studies, moot, courts, debate society. With this, there are also various sports played such as basketball, cricket, football, athletics, volleyball, table tennis, badminton etc

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

each of us gets a roommate and there is accommodation of two students. In one room. We have a communal washroom which has warm warm water throughout the day. The hostilities are great including the mess food And even laundry is done by a hired person. In case there is any trouble faced by the students. Immediate action is taken by the college administration.

What is the admission process of the college?

i had my admission on the basis of class 12th merit as i am a resident from punjab itself. other than that all the students who are army wards and all over india civilians had to appear for an entrance exam to get admission

Mooting culture is very appreciated here. We have a good mooting background in our college and our teams excell in mooting and other competitions also.

Admission:

I applied for nlus and symbiosis. I got symbiosis pune but here fee structure is low as compared to that. Also here a sense of brotherhood is there among students and you feel more indulged in campus Here to get admission you have to gor through their online test which is AIL LET and then through counselling you get admission
