Placement Experience:

in our college placements are very good. They provide 30% of the students in third year placements and 20% of the placements are in fourth year. Ranking of college is very good all over world. There are many companies visit our campus to take students.

Things I like are the infrastructure is good and the facilities in the university and the security is very friendly and they will explain good and bad things if there is any problem they will give you a chance
And there are many Hackathon are going and anyone can participate in the hackathon and get the certificate and that will be helpful in job interview and that will help in the gaining of skills and get good marks in exams
nd there is no ragging in this ragging is killer which is killingCollege and whole university is ragging free and can be free and students don't have the fear of the ragging from the seniors but in remaining university there is a fear is the ragging

Dislikes

The main thing I I don't like in this College is they will be changing the section which is very bad because we are having a friend circle but because of this the friendz will be changing which is bad because for every sem it feels new so this things
Another I don't like is the current bill which is very bad and they will be giving a very high amount of current bills which is. Very bad thay are even they are charging so much from the students which is not so good
And the some of the wardens and the north people are doing things which are unusual and even there are so many south people north people are thinking of dominating the south but which is impossible that may be in there dreams

i like the infrastructure of our college because the arrangements was very good.

I dont like food in our college because we are missing home made food
I dont like stalls at lpu because it was too expensive.

the 6 semester students can eligible for campus placements.the companys visit were google,infosys etc.the highest package 3 crore and averege is 8 lakh.the percentage of students getting is 90 percentage and after degree i will do masters.

the campus placement were good and we can get easy jobs.

Dislikes

mentor ship were not good and exam patterns were not good.
the teacher facality does not help to do labs.
there were not support staff to perform things

A truth tale of LPU

Likes

The college infrastructure and the college is very huge and they provide shuttle service from block 1 to 60 where ever you want at the cost of ₹15/-
They have bicycle too. It costs ₹2 for 1min
There are plenty of food court and each food court has wide variety of shops. So, you can try anywhere you want

Dislikes

The thing is the mostly give importance to cse group.
The main problem is they are giving importance to cse but not their website it crashes most of the time
Only one mart is 24 hrs but that is not in common it is in bh2 if it's common so everyone can make use of it

They have orientation course for 1st two semester to tell us what is in this field and they opt for more practical knowledge with the curriculum and they conducted many workshop and they have introduced new edu revolution policy

teachers are the best because they are very well interactive towards students.
university culture is also good and it attracts so many people from even different countries too.
enviroment is also too good ,every where you can find greenery here.

Dislikes

food is somwhat disappointing because it contains lot of masalas and all.
fee is also somewhat disappointing but i think the university worth it.
i may say that the weather in winters also hurts somewhat because it is soo cool in punjab during winters.

Placement Experience:

from 5 th semester you will get placements ,but if yoyu have enogh knowledge about coding you can apply at the current studying semester also like they will have a website to register for plazcements so you can apply . the companies like wipro visited but took no placement because they want analysts but maximum members are like good in coding than analytical skills so they didn't selected anyone. highest package offered in this year upto now mwans second month of 2025 is 64 lakhs by google .lowest package is of 6 lakhs and average package is of 8 lakhs. my plans after getting a degree is enjoying life and focussing on development of country.

A way to think bigger

College infrastructure is excellent , with good academic blocks and great sports facilities including swimming pool , shooting and many other sports making college a peaceful place to explore yourself

Placement Experience:

Placement at college are above average with highest package this year of 1 crore. Lpu starts giving student internships opportunities from 3 year making students ready for corporate world. Average package is around 600000.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.

LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
