Likes

I like the campus it was very good and beautiful
I ike the atmosphere and we can get different friends
The diversity was very good in the lpu which is good

Dislikes

Warden behaviour in the hostels and they're very worst
Discrimination on the south people not everyone
I don't like umc cases and the indiscipline cases

Placement Experience:

It's ok compared to the other clgs but it's ok to come to the college and joined for the placements u can get some good placements over here in the different streams like btech which was very rated in the lpu

the behavior of teachers and college staff are very sweet.

Dislikes

transport facilities was not very good.
i did not like the color of uniform.
the food items in the canteen was very expensive

Placement Experience:

from the sixth semester student get letters for campus placement companies like private banks lnsurance companies wipro etc. had the average package of rs. 5 lakhs and highest was 20 laks annually. 90% placement was done.

Likes

There are a lot of things to like about LPU than the dislike
The environment is very good .the students studying here are from different parts of the country
And even they have foreign students which is a plus point

Dislikes

Distance between the main gate and hostel
A very few things to dislike:-Too much security checks
A very few things to dislike:-Less effect mobile towers

Placement Experience:

In my case personal plans but typically after obtaining a B.sc Hons agriculture degree ,students explore career opportunities in agriculture_related fields,research or entrepreneurship based on their interests and the opportunities available to them.

Likes

LPU is a well known University where it offer courses for Undergraduate and post graduate.

Dislikes

It can be crowded and have strict attendance policy which can be challenging for students who face genuine reasons.

Course Curriculum Overview:

LPU faculty re diploma, PhD and degree holders. They are experienced and trained to offer advance learning experience to postgraduate and undergraduate students. They also invited guest faculty for lectures and arrange conferences for Undergraduate and postgraduate students and teachers.

there is no good facilities for agriculture students no canteen in the field and the field is so far

because my family background is in agriculture only faculty is very good kind and interactive a lots of extracurricular activities done by the students and teachers all the assistant professors are of masters degree or phd holders they have good knowledge and specialization in their particular subject after 1 or 2 months of semester mid term is held in which only objective questions are there and after that end term exam was held in which both subjective and objective questions are there

I had a love for agriculture since childhood and I want to. Make a good contribution to the field of agriculture. Or there are at least 1000 students in any one subject. Here the teacher's approach is very positive and easy to learn facts. The method of giving the exam is very good, but all the exams are given yearly.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
The university's popularity is high due to its large student population from different regions of India.
LPU offers international exposure to students from foreign countries, enhancing language skills through interaction.
LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
Non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited on campus, reflecting the university's policies.
LPU provides a platform for personal growth and learning, although it may not suit those solely focused on academics.
Online resources supplement classroom learning, addressing potential gaps in teaching quality.
The university offers generous scholarships, making education more affordable for students.
