The wonderful college of the year

Likes

My experience of being in Lovely Professional University (LPU) for B. Tech. has been very positive
The university has a state-of-the-art infrastructure, with well-equipped laboratories and classrooms
The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, and they are always willing to help students.

Dislikes

Need to take some lower fees for poor students such as sc/st/obc
Need to improve quality of teaching style
Need best playing tools for students also

Course Curriculum Overview:

Every student get good placement well reputed and renowned companies, curriculum was excellent . College provide us intership for better future and experience. We have faculties ,who are very educated , knowledge and experienced. They are very helpful and understandble well communication . A course curriculum is a series of classes designed to help a student reach the level of formal education that they are pursuing. The course curriculum should form a learning environment that helps a student attain a desired outcome.

Enjoying and educated

Likes

I like the way of those teaching and play cricket
Particularly we enjoyed the subject in our biology
The way of those people of service to each other was nice

While we eating food sound was very iritating
The warden was also and his behaviour wrong
The way of teachers asking feese also very bad

Good infrastructure of college and ground will be good

Discomfortable about the hostel facilities

This course is beautiful and help to understand the concepts to crack the bank exams and faculty to student ratio is 500:1000 and qualification of teacher will be msc in any subject and PhD and exams will conduct semester for six months

Likes

College campus is so dyanamic, all facilities there
College environment, high qualified Teaching
Extra curricular activities, and library

Dislikes

North india, it's so far to my native Andhra
Local language problem, food habbits in college
North indian faculty will show more attitude

Teacher faculty is friendly campus life is good
Hostel is k but little expensive food is average
No ragging have a proper schedule for exams

Food somethimes has u know hostel food is not the same thourgh the year
Placement cell it should improve in little things so that more number of students wil get placed

i like campus life of lpu u will get to know people from different background
classroom , teachers , events are most interesting
library is also good at lpu, many cafeteria are there in every block

Dislikes

i dont like people robbing clothes in your hostel
non veg food is not allowed inside the campus
mess dinner is not good it should get better

Because I love the course and it was my dream to be a doctor but couldn't afford the fee, I took up Science as my major and since I love plants took up agriculture. There are 20 members in each class. I love the way they teach. The Faculties are good. It was once every 6 months and we had to work hard to pass.

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.
The university's popularity is high due to its large student population from different regions of India.
LPU offers international exposure to students from foreign countries, enhancing language skills through interaction.
LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.
Non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited on campus, reflecting the university's policies.
LPU provides a platform for personal growth and learning, although it may not suit those solely focused on academics.
Online resources supplement classroom learning, addressing potential gaps in teaching quality.
The university offers generous scholarships, making education more affordable for students.
