Climate mainly you have to adopt because in winter it's so cold in summer also so hot you have to adopt

Likes

I like the environment there. Faculty was very good
Good library setting. All the students can use that facility
If hostel food is not good students can eat in canteen

Dislikes

Faculty does not focus on the dull students
Hostel food is not good . They are bad..
Transport charges are very high within the campus only

I like this course . I love to do this. Faculty students ratio is also good. It was difficult to pass . Because the pass marks are 51 out of 100. The exams were not timely conducting. Because of condensed semester it is difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It dependents on what you’re specialized in (what you did your PhD in or what you have experience in). In my faculty we offer a double-major in philology ( native language + another language- English, Japanese, French etc.). I did my master degree and PhD in English, therefore I teach English classes. If it’s a big department, you specialize even further. In the case of English, since departments are usually bigger, there are 2 directions: literature/cultural studies and linguistics. If it’s a really big department with hundreds of students specializing in your exact field (English philology) you will need to teach exactly what your PhD was in (e.g. if you teach Pragmatics courses for linguistics - this is usually a third year course here-, they will require that you have a PhD not just in linguistics, but precisely on Pragmatics )

I liked my collage because there was best faculty and very intelligent teachers.
There was very strictness and teachers was very intelligent and they love their students.
The students was very intelligent and good. And also participate in all functios.

The college was on the highway road we can't out from there happily.
There was lakhs of student. That was the problem for us.

What is your review of Lovely Professional University?

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:

Students get success in placements based on their learning and skills provided by the University. The University trains the students to grab high-quality job offers.
LPU receives numerous companies for placements, although only a fraction of students secure high-paying offers, partly due to the large student population.
LPU's campus can accommodate its many students, with classes divided into manageable sizes for effective teaching.

LPU offers international exposure to students from foreign countries, enhancing language skills through interaction.
LPU maintains a strict anti-ragging policy and provides a secure environment with extensive CCTV surveillance.

Online resources supplement classroom learning, addressing potential gaps in teaching quality.
