Campus is very good and large various food court are there.

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Excellent Infrastructure, Big 600 acre Campus
North India biggest and well-stocked library'
Around 10% of students in our batch are placed in sem 6th and 30% are doing internships.

Dislikes

The faculty is moderateiy helpful but there are some lack.
Mess facilities are bad . there is no taste in food.
75% Attendance is mandatory and after that attendance marks are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Likes

The campus and infrastructure is so good. The campus life is awesome.
The faculty and teaching is appreciable. All faculty are having good qualifications.
The college encourage co curricular activities so much. We can continue our skills and hobbys together with studies.

Dislikes

The crowd is too much. But we get to interact with a lot of people.
As reaching second year classes will be hectic.
There is a curfew for girls hostel which is till 8 in summers and 7 in winters.

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty good. There are a lot of campus placements going on. Even though the crowd is big, we can get a decent placement of we work hard for it. Many good companies are visiting campus offering good packages

The real lpu

fee for the program which i have studied and provided me a well value for money offer for the course of that type par with other universities in comparision
teachers and peer learning was there for the courses
had so much friends and enjoyed life during the course of my college days

Dislikes

bad teachers and faculties for teaching most are inexperienced
poor infrastructure in and around the university
placement support and overall student support is very bad

Placement Experience:

the placement was very bad in our university still they were giving many placement offers to tech students to non tech domains with very low packages. the placement support was not very well to the students

LPU - an opportunity for go-getters

Got an exposure of the diverse culture, food and opinions of people from all around the world, not only i got to interact with students from different parts of India but even from countries across the world like - South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Nepal.
Even in the covid era, the placement drives started from my early 3rd semester. There were numerous drives and internships to apply for which was really a golden opportunity.
Most of the Faculty were easy going and understanding of us students.

Dislikes

There were very few elevators for the amount of floors we had to climb to reach our classes on time.
There was no non vegetarian food stalls available inside the campus, nor it was allowed to bring non-veg food from outside.
In the early semester. there were a lot of subjects that were compulsory to study to pass the semester which had no relation to my stream like - environmental science, physics.

Placement Experience:

As mentioned earlier, placements and internships start commencing from the early 2nd year only. My graduation period was between 2020-2024 which was mostly the covid period and still there was no shortage of placement drives. More than 1800 drives came but my specialization was in cyber security and there was a shortage of cyber security companies. So, i had no choice and had to apply for companies outside of my domain and i finally got an internship in my last year. The average package was around 20k per month and the highest was 40 lakh per year which was from flipkart. The percentage of students that got placed was more than 75% even in the covid period.

yes, as per requirement, colloege supported.
yes college life was good & Clean campus.
College Having good learning culture & Lab is also good

Dislikes

Fee structure is too high, also college charged many additional fees
Hostel facility was good but food quality just ok

In first year the college will make you work hard and you need to submit practical, attend classes,maintain 75 per cent attendance, assignment and all stuff but this will ultimately help you in semester exam and you will be thankful to your college.
Regular fests and freshers party is organised in college.
The teachers are very motivating and supportive.Always ready to solve query and motivate students.

Dislikes

Dress code is a thing I would I don't like but you will be learn to survive in dress.
Too much exams gives headache and college takes almost 5 eams in 1 semester.
75 percent attendance will make you feel bored .

Placement Experience:

3 year student are eligible for campus placement I. my college.Almost 92 percent student are placed in college and the highest package offered is 53 lpa and average package is 7 lpa.I too trying hard to get placed.

Honest LPU

High exposure , Infrastructure is above average than most government colleges and Extracurricular activities are best.

Placement is kind of decent . Many companies hire from the campus . Most of them hire on the average package of 600000 to 800000 lpa. Students who opt for Placement have a almost 50 50 of getting placed .

hostel food is average not at all good and fess of hostel is also high

I completed BTech CSE from LPU back in 2016. You might say that LPU has changed since then, but I am still in touch with my juniors and here is my experience:

Placements: More than 550+ MNCs and startups visit the LPU campus for placement. In recent news, Yasir M., student of LPU, grabbed an offer of INR 3 crore in Germany. The highest CTC offered for the engineering programs at LPU is INR 42 LPA.
Scholarships: People might think LPU is pricey since it is a private colleges, but LPU provides scholarships to bright students with good academic records, good track record in sports, or extracurricular activities. LPU also helps students in the education loan facility.
Research: In terms of research, Stanford University has ranked almost 13 LPU faculty members amongst the top 2% of scientists in the world.
Faculty: The faculty members are from top institutes like IITs, NITs, IIMs, and top-ranked universities globally.

I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-

The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.

Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.

Being a graduate from LPU, I found the campus life quite joyful as everyone in the university is supportive. I liked the following things about the University:
