IIT Ropar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements at IIT Ropar are very good as it possesses a high average package and also has good top placements. Many companies visit our college at the time of placements and students get eligible after the seventh semester for a proper placement and for the internship the student gets eligible after fourth semester. Here almost everyone gets placed in the institute placements making 100% of all. After getting the degree, I am planning to prepare for civil services. Being from a family where everyone is employed in government sector I also want to serve the country.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like Jindal Steels, Google, Bosch, BPCL etc. 95% of the students are getting placed in our college, the remaining 5% are choosing professions based on their willingness, some of them are into trading too. My plan after getting the degree is to start a startup or explore my field of study deeper by completing Masters or Phd.

From 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, Microsoft, Tata, BPCL, Zundal, etc.. these companies were visited our college and they have taken too many students also. The highest package in our campus is 50LPA and average package is 20LPA. 70% of students are placed. I am deciding to go for upsc after my graduation. As I am interested in civil services.

Campus placement starts from 7th sem onwards. Students can appear for placement drives in the 7th semester. I don't have much idea of companies visiting. Some companies like Google, DeShawn, Jp Morgan, Nvidia, etc though visit for placements. Average package is around 16lpa with the highest being 65lpa this year until now. Around 80-90% of students appearing for placement drives got selected this year. No plans for now. Just getting a job is on the top of priority list. :)

Campus placemnr tcan be neglected because placement is for toppers like puchikayala rohith not for you. Become. A stand up comedian because engineering is not for you. I chose this course according to my rank, IIT ROPAR Civil Engineering was the best one. Faculty: student ratio=1:5 The faculties of this college are highly qualified with degrees from the prestigious institutes of the world. 1 semester is approx 4 months. After 2 months we have mid sems, And in between we have quizzes, viva, etc.

Placement is quite good as IIT is preferred by the companies to select the best talent. The average package of my branch is 18 lakh per annum and for college is around 13 lakh. every renowned company came to our college like Amazon google Microsoft TCS oracle Texas instrument. Around 85% of students get placed. I plan to work as a software designer

After the 6th semester internship program starts and students can work on different projects alongside. The companies that visit the college are Google, Texas Electricals, Amazon, Facebook, gigabyte, Nvidia, etc. The college placements percentage is approx. 88%. The highest package is around 55 lakhs and the minimum. Package Is around 6 lakhs. After my degree, I want to start a business related to electrical engineering.
