Course Curriculum Overview
The mechanical engineering curriculum at IITs is generally considered to be highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers core principles, advanced topics, and practical applications, preparing students well for a career in the field.
Internships Opportunities
We can do internship under phd students and there are research internship are also available in the campus. We can do internship under senior any stream in core or non core we can do project under professors.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, Microsoft, Tata, BPCL, Zundal, etc.. these companies were visited our college and they have taken too many students also. The highest package in our campus is 50LPA and average package is 20LPA. 70% of students are placed. I am deciding to go for upsc after my graduation. As I am interested in civil services.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee will be in our campus 7000/- per semester for reserved categories and 100000 for general categories and there will be a study loan option with in the campus. Including all overall performance year I'll charge 50k-70k. For reserved categories we can avail for NSP scholarship.
Campus Life
There is a main fest in our college that is Zeitgeist cultural fest that is held in October every year. And there is Advitiya tech fest that is held in February every year. And there is Aarohan Sports fest that is held in March every year. We had a library which is open for 24/7. There are labs for each and every department. Which cost one machine in lakhs. We had a good scope in sports in our campus. There will inter IIT competition in every December. There so many clubs in campus which includes coding club, robotics club etc..
Hostel Facilities
Our Hostel is really too good it feels like five star. In hostel room there 2 sharing accomodation and there are 1 bed 1 table and 1 cupboard is provided for each person. At admission time we need to do registration for hostel by paying hostel fee and we need pay hostel fee for each semester. The quality of food is ok we can adjust.
Admission
I have written jee mains and I got 72 percentile and I have qualified for jee Advanced and I have qualified in jee advanced too I got seat in IIT ROPAR in mechanical engineering. I got 2000 sc category rank.
